Best Mexican cafe in the world. I love the environment, people, and the food is just icing on the cake. Every part of this establishment makes me feel at home. Georgetown has lost a little of its culture because we’re growing at an unprecedented rate. But Rio Bravo has been here since I’ve been a little boy, and it’s still delicious and welcoming as ever.

Had lunch delivered. Nothing looked very appetizing at first.

Not worth it. Stay away. Waste of money. Mission tortillas, not even homemade. I paid for barbacoa grease and store bought tortillas. Ruined my breakfast.

Sadly, I went off reviews and thought this might be a great place to buy a torta. I will not be going back. The chicken has a very weird taste. Two bites and its in the TRASH! I just threw away my money.

We’re new to Georgetown and looking for a go-to breakfast spot that is delicious, quaint, memorable (for good reasons), won’t break the bank and worthy of recommendations. That said, our first trip to Rio Bravo on the Friday after Thanksgiving was just okay. We each had the migas plate, one with chorizo and one with regular sausage added in. The migas and beans were tasty but the potatoes were pretty bland. The little container of red sauce helped but could have been chunkier. I read a lot of mixed reviews about this place but always like to see for myself. We’ll probably return at some point but I think we’re still in the hunt. Maybe next time we’ll stick with the tacos.
