Really wanted to love this place. Love supporting small businesses and mom & pop shops. Based on the high reviews, I was very eager to try. Unfortunately, the only item that was semi-edible was the Yuka fritas. The rice in the picture is a double order and was on the crunchier, dryer, al dente side. The pollo con tajadas was primarily bones, chicken jerky and breading. The bed of plantations below was dry, hard, and old/stale tasting. The carne asada from the Honduras menu was thin, beef jerky textured and the beans tasted like a packet of taco seasoning. Not sure if this is an acquired taste type of thing or perhaps it was the time of day?

We ended up stopping here by accident. Best accident ever!! The food was amazing, and the staff was super kind. I had the best vegetable fajitas I’ve ever had anywhere! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. Very authentic.

We got honduran food from the menu. The food was good. The place is small and the kid waiter was very friendly but the girl wasn’t so much!! Talked with the owner and he was very friendly. The bathroom was clean as well. Overall, we enjoyed it and will be back for more.

We were driving back from the beach looking for something to eat and didn’t want the same ol’ same old’ stuff. My hubz looked up Mexican places off the highway and found this option of a mix of Honduran and Mexican conveniently located off Hwy 70 and not too far from I-95. At first glance you might pass on it but we are adventurous and we wanted to try it. Totally worth it! Family owned business- I talked to the owner who was there cooking and her husband was in the kitchen. We tried the Honduran menu and it was fantastic! Since I have never been to Honduras, I can’t speak to how authentic it was all I can say is that it was delicious!!!! Plantains and steak with some delicious sauce. There was a salad or slaw blend of veggies on top of the plantains….. yum!!! The waitress spoke English as did the owner but it is not their native tongue. (No prob w me- just letting u know what to expect- you CAN communicate) The menu was in both Spanish and English – very helpful. First thing they brought to the table was fresh hot tortilla chips and homemade fresh salsa all to die for! Just nice people trying to make it and I definitely wanted to leave an awesome review to encourage others to give it a try. Can’t wait til we head that way again!
