Big Burchy
Let me say that the flavor of the Chile Verde was excellent. Some of the meat was cooked perfectly but the larger chunks of pork were very tough and hard to chew. 3 reasons why it turned out this way. 1). Not enough liquid in the pot. 2) Heat too high. 3). Wrong cut of meat used. Verde must be simmered about 3 hrs and longer for big chunks. It is much easier to use smaller pieces but it’s easy to become lazy. Flavor-excellent; tenderness-poor. Cannot recommend this dish. Hopefully IF there’s a next time it will be better.

As a Family of 5 on a Saturday, at 2pm during Alumni weekend at GU we were seated quickly. They provide healthy servings even for the kids menu. Staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient. Highly recommend if you are in the area. There is a small selection of American Food for those.

Ordered take out which I know is risky with Mexican food but did it anyways. I have never had a Fajita Quesadilla this bad before and I order it almost every Mexican restaurant I go to… the guy said they don’t have a Fajita quesadilla on the menu so they would have to make it and charge me for a fajita dinner. I said that’s fine and when I opened it it’s full of red sauce… soggy… and almost not edible.. I took one bite. Very disappointed Mexican food is my favorite food and this was just really disappointing.. usually fajita quesadillas come out with a little crisp on top and it seemed like they just put cheese on top and heated up the flour tortilla.. nothing good about it 🙁 and expensive…

Food was amazing! Split a large combination plate and the churros and paid less then 40 dollars for the full meal, with leftover to spare. Best churros I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be stopping here next time I’m in Spokane

Folks, this is really good Mexican food! We had tasty chips and salsa, Sunrise Enchiladas and a burrito and tamale combination plate, all amazing, great sauces and the chicken was moist and delicious.
