Amazing. I bought a plate of pollo guisado with arroz con gandules, 3 empanadas to take home, yucca frita, and a drink. The beef empanadas were amazing, chicken was super moist. Amazing and woman owned. Wait was a little long but Id rather it take a while and be cooked right than come out fast!! Idc for it being by the bar but eh whatever. Kinda pricey but food still fire.

I first have to say that both of these plates are plates that I love love love to cook and really love to eat. With that said … I have tried so many places in my quest for perfect Latin food and this cook did not disappoint. I felt like I was back in Miami eating this ropa vieja and the arroz was as good as the rice I had in Luqillo. The food was so flavorful and the pernil and ropa vieja were pure perfection. It was late night 1135, everything else was closed I the area. We were out drinking at the ice house and needed food (you know). Googled nearest Resturant open and it turned out to be more than just that. The food was amazing . I could have ordered everything after that. This will be a definite come back spot because of the food but the price was accommodating also. If you are looking for a grab and go with real flavor and taste no matter the time check them out.
