Riley’ Place is a quaint historical Tavern that offers BBQ, such as Ribs, Pulled Pork and Pulled Chicken. We are all about Comfort Foods such as Mac and cheese & Cajun Jambalaya and Smash Burgers. We now offer Marinated Steak Tips and Bourbon Chicken. We have a great music Venue featuring local bands that play Blues, Rock and Roll & Country! We are the best little music place in town and we are located in the tavern which is in the back of the Colonel Shepard house, a building that is over 250 years old. Very quant, cozy and friendly. We are right next-door to Rite Aid pharmacy in Milford on the hill.

First let me say the waiters/bartenders were so nice. Now that being said this was my first and last time going here. The drinks were awful. It took us 45 minutes to just to get appetizers and they were not good at all. We had planned to get dinner but with how long it took to get the apps and how bad they were we just got the check and left. I was hoping this would be good as a local but I can’t go back here unfortunately.

Great atmosphere and hospitality. The focus on the music quality and entertainment is great and continuously improving. This is one of those little gems hard to come across especially in the local area. Great job Kim! We look forward to spending more time here.

The service was great and friendly. The food was good. The jambalaya could have used more chicken and chunks of peppers but the flavor was good. The mac and cheese was great The entertainment was awesome.

Wow. We go here on Sundays occasionally for their “blues jam” which is a rotating cast of killer musicians playing music so good you can’t believe it’s free. So glad we stumbled in here. Great food and service and the owners are lovely.

Went for music bingo on Wednesday nights. Had a BLAST!! Didn’t try the food but everything I saw and smelled looked great. Got the chance to chat with the chef for a bit. Love her story and definitely going back for food.

We ate at Riley’s Place for lunch. My husband had pulled pork nachos, which he loved. I had shrimp jambalaya which was delicious! Love the old time authentic feel with it’s rustic beams and boards. The owner is such a nice lady. Hoping they will add some gluten/dairy free options in the future, it has great potential to expand their menu. We loved it!

I am visiting from Pennsylvania and was visiting family who heard Ronnie Earl (well known blues guitarist) was performing with a group. Music was superb. My first time listening/seeing blues performance — I was captivated with the group. If you are around this weekend, I saw where they are having a Motown theme. Sounds good. I do suggest if you enjoy music and a good environment, check this place out as I know you will enjoy yourselves.
