LOVED IT! if you are in Elizabethton GO HERE! very very good food couldnt have been better or so i thought till i met Judy our waitress she had great conversation and was so kind. rico himself came out and he was so kind as well it felt like i was meeting a celebrity! i didn’t want to leave! i got the pizza pretzel and it was delicious and warm and fresh. before i left judy gave me a free cup of ice tea to take with me. 100% RECOMMEND!!

The perfect hole in the wall Italian restaurant. The pizza was fresh, the crust was perfect, the sauce was not acidic like most pizza places and very little grease, comes to your table piping hot and cheese pulling apart in the most tantalizing way. The apple pie and Italian wedding cake were absolutely delicious. Will be coming here more often.

A simple small town pizza joint. We’ve been here several times but have only had the pizza, so I can’t review any of the other food. The pizza is hit or miss, but always at least good, sometimes great. I guess it just depends on who’s making the pies that night. When Rico is making them is when they’re the best.

Rico’s is a true gem!!! Very few restaurants can win me over after only one meal, Rico’s was able to do that after only eating one calzone! It’s literally to the point that I’ve decided to try everything on the menu. The food there burst with a truly authentic Italian flavor. I also love that no matter who makes your order at Rico’s the high quality of the food is consistent, you can tell the owner, Rico, has truly honed his craft and made sure his employees keep the same care and love when creating food. You can even see them fixing your order which is just that all their delicious food is handmade !!! Now just one more thing to say, do yourself a favor and try the Italian cream cake that’s all I’ll say about that, my mouth is literally watering just thinking about it!!! Rico and his staff are wonderful people and they take the time to make sure all their customers feel like family!!! He’s got a lifetime customer in me!!!
