The custom bowls are tasty, healthy and affordable. The ingredients are fresh, the price is quite good and the amount of protein served is sufficient. Orders are placed at the counter and then the food is served relatively quickly to the table. Even in busier times, the waiting time is kept within limits. Additionally, the fried yucca sticks are also highly recommended.

I came across this spot while looking for something to satisfy my craving for something Caribbean. My initial thought was Papi’s since they are near each other. But once I saw that they also offer Ropa Veieja I decided to give them a shot. I placed my order online, got a beef empanada, a tres leches cake, and the Tropical Bowl. Added some extra protein ( chicken) and cilantro. I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes later. The order was bagged and ready for me to grab when I walked in. I was starving so I ate the beef empanada and tried the yummy tres leches cake in the car. I was surprised to learn that the tres leches cake was coconut flavored. It was my luck since I enjoy coconut but I don’t think that would roll smoothly for someone else. They should specify that on the website. The beef empanada was really good, especially while it was hot. The Tropical Bowl was pretty good too, the only thing that threw me off was the chicken, it was salty. Outside of that, I would go back and try the other options. The place gave me a chipotle, sort of feel. Which for me is great, I would love to be able to get this sort of food more often. I just wish that like Chipotle, there were more locations.

This place is fantastic! Generous portions of the most delicious made to order food. The employee taking orders was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. It was our first visit so we appreciated the suggestions. We ordered the Cuban Bowl and the Tropico Bowl and they were both incredible. We also tried two different arepas because we’ve never had them before. We got one steak and one chiccarones and loved them both. I’m excited to go back and try more things here. I’m looking forward to ordering some empanadas and dessert next time!

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while now to see what many of my coworkers and friends talked about and I can definitely say that this place is one of the best Latin restaurants in the area! I took my family and girlfriend to try it out and we were all impressed with the food, the service and overall great experience at the restaurant! The food is delicious. This is a fusion restaurant. They have Venezuelan, Colombian, Cuban and Peruvian mix of food options. The owner and staff are very welcoming. Great service and good prices. The steak they use is so flavorful and tender. The place is super clean.

It was our first time trying Rico Tropical Grill and it was fantastic! Everything had so much flavor. The Ranchero bowl and chicken sandwich were great. We also had tostones along with guava and cream cheese empanadas. We tried the Mango, cilantro garlic, and jalapeño garlic sauces, and they were packed with fresh flavor as well.
