My favorite pizza place in Rensselaer! It’s very old fashion and takes cash but I am fine with that. Everyone is friendly. I’ve never had issues and I’ve been going to Rick’s for over 20 years. My sister who moved away still loves it and whenever she is home she has to get it. That’s when you know it’s good!

Not enough sauce, so pizza is super dry. Also the cheese tastes overwhelmingly like garlic? Idk it’s very rich and in my opinion it’s the worst pizza I’ve ever had. 🙁 was craving authentic pizza and was super disappointed.

Rick has been a Rensselaer institution for a very long time…decades, in fact. There is NO better pizza, really, anywhere. The pizza is always hot and delicious – we recommend to everyone who stays in our Airbnb, and our guests rave that they’ll have to come back to Rensselaer just for the pizza! I just hope and pray that Rick gives us all plenty of notice when he decides to retire from the dough-tossing game, because I’m going to have to buy a freezer, just to fill with his pizza, because the cravings are REAL.
