This was my first time at Ricks Kitchen. I have resisted going there du to previous experience with other restaurants in the foothills. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to find out this isn’t your typical Denny’s experience. The coffee isn’t Folgers and Ricks gravy ain’t some dry mix you add water to. It was delicious with just a hint of sage that left me wanting more and perfect bits of sausage. The biscuit was fluffy and tasty as well. The bacon was cooked to perfection as was my eggs. I will go back to try other breakfast creations. Obviously everything was made from scratch and had Ricks touch. This place is worth the drive for sure.

Excellent atmosphere and good experiences were had when we visited on a weekday morning. We were able to sit down immediately. The server was prompt and kind. The food was a solid American breakfast. Pictured is the kids meal pancakes.

Forgot to take a photo of our food, but here’s updated menu photos. We loved our breakfast! Biscuits and gravy and the 2+2+2. It was very busy inside when we arrived and we were happy to have the option of sitting outdoors, where the weather was perfect and it wasn’t so loud. Very fast and friendly service and we loved our food. Perfectly crispy bacon!

Food taste great! However, they are very tiny portions. If they would cut a thicker slice of tomato, extra slice of bacon, extra gravy, choose a bigger bun 100%. But it’s perfect for small bfast or brunch.

This was my second time going to Rick’s Kitchen for breakfast and I was not disappointed. Staff is friendly and prompt , though I would advise to get there early because there might be a wait (the food is just that good) as you can see by the pictures the breakfast quality is superb, it is pure classic breakfast at its finest. I recommend 10/10. Rick himself comes out and asks how the service and food is, goes out of his way to refill your coffee he is an excellent host. I will definitely be coming back to Rick’s Kitchen.

Ricks Kitchen is Top Notch. Friendly, welcoming and professional, top of great food. Especially up here in the foothills where there are limited restaurants, especially with the FootHills Eatery gone. I love the small Diner feel. All the staff is great and Rick and his Wife are awesome and welcoming. My folks and I go for Breakfast or Lunch a few times a month. A Must Try! Both Breakfast and Lunch are great. Fresh Home cooked comfort food. You won’t be disappointed at all.

Best breakfast & lunch spot in Yuma! I had the chicken fried steak and it was the perfect amount of food. So tender you can cut it with a fork. Eggs were great and hash browns were perfectly cooked. My wife had the patty melt which was very good with a side of tater tots which you don’t find in a lot of restaurants. Great staff as well! Will be our go to spot in Yuma from now on when we travel to Tucson to visit family.

Tammy is AMAZING!!!!! We were in town visiting family for the weekend, stopped in after church on Easter Sunday. Tammy was so sweet, SUPER attentive, hospitable, and accommodating. The foothills are getting some decent places to eat. This place has grown in popularity each month that it has been open. But the food and service remains excellent. The prices are reasonable and with all the parking in back and the tables outside it is definitely worth stopping as there should be plenty of room
