The food is good. I had the steak and eggs. The steak was actually a decent sized sirloin and a good quality cut, not nervy or anything. The eggs were good, perfectly over medium, just as I asked. The service was decent as well. Seems like a second home for mostly everyone who seem like regulars. Would definitely go again and worth the visit. Great place great prices.

Love this little restaurant. Clean, simple, cash only restaurant with a classic set-up and feel. Rick’s is very busy, yet there’s almost never a wait. People go in, order, and eat quickly, so turnover of tables is fast. The wait staff is great and the food is excellent. Prices are reasonable, too. The best part is, cash only. They have an ATM inside, in case you forget cash or don’t have quite enough. This is our go-to breakfast spot. Best in Zephyrhills, for those who like a more traditional breakfast and lunch experience. If you like to sit and talk forever, this isn’t the place for you.

I wanted to like this place. I travel a lot and love to stop at small local diners. Those quirks that make them seem homey are nice sometimes… this place I feel over does it though. Every little weird thing that a diner could do, they do. Cash only, small menu, they don’t use butter? They serve bread and grits with whipped spread? Literally says that in large letters lol.. server wasn’t sure if the potatoes were fresh or frozen, but was positive their grits were like soup. They have white wonder bread or wheat… no rye. Menu is limited and they don’t allow changes or substitutions. Everyone in the place was well over 60, so it’s just a place that caters to locals and I felt like that with the service I received. Server was annoyed that I didn’t want a top off of coffee, but then asked for more when I finished my cup… I had just waited long enough for the hot coffee to cool enough to drink… I didn’t want to top off and it be too hot again.. oh yea.. and the coffee was bad.

Very disappointed June Friday 19th, I have lived in the area all my life and I have never had the worst breakfast this morning, The Food was terrible and when I was brought to mine and my sons table it was stone cold not even luke warm, So I told my son to get up and I out of the good hearted person I am I pay for our $25 bill and told the cashier out complaint after she overheard me and my son talking about it and she showed no remorse for our visit. I nor my son will not be going back.

This is a nice little breakfast/lunch place. My kiddos and I usually come closer to closing time when it’s less busy. Food is fairly cheap, and when you get the special, coffee is included. For 3 people, it’s less than 30$. My favorite dish is the burger and onion rings. It’s not fancy, but it’s filling.
