Atomosphere-It’s a carryout. The best steamed crabs I’ve had in the 2 years since I moved from Maryland. Well seasoned. They were busy with a constant stream of folks coming in. I heard good things from everyone. I can’t wait to try other seafood and more crabs.

This a must try!!! The Whiting was seasoned and fried to perfection!! The shrimp was great! The crab cluster in the boil bag was AMAZING!! it was huge!! Also received shrimp in the bag which were a nice size and seasoned very well. Customer service was great, very friendly, food was prepared in a timely manner! I hate to complain but I’d loved to have a larger portion of fries, the corn was overcooked, and the crab was mushy but the batter was amazing. I’d definitely go back

I always order my live crabs here. They give you a bang for your buck. The live crabs are always fresh. I just tried their crabcakes…OMG. THEY WERE HUGE AND SCRUPTIOUS. Best crabcakes I’ve tasted in this area in a long time. Prices are reasonable. Not cheap but reasonably priced. Its well worth it. No good customer service! Food is okay nothing special and over priced! I tried to support this black business a few times.. each time I was more and more Disappointed! Owner is beyond rude both over the phone and in person. I will support businesses that actually have good customer service and go somewhere.. where the food is good as well. And I asked for crab cakes and got oversized crab balls. I expected crab cakes! I had to give them away. I will not be back!

I was told about this place at the beginning of the summer, but it was never open when I went to that shopping area.. Today I noticed it was open and I went in and waited to order something. I asked the guy with the black head wrap if $6 was the price of the female fried crabs and if they were a good size. This is an appropriate question when you can’t see what you are purchasing until after you have paid for it. His response was curt. It was apparent that he does not think a customer can ask a question and that it is okay to tell a person who is trying to make a purchase that he is busy and the only one working. That was a PP. I don’t think he knows that customers make payday possible and with his curt disposition, he may not be opened for long. How he responded makes it difficult to support Black owned Businesses. I chose to take my business to a crab place were good customer service is displayed.

I have been coming to get crabs from Rich for years. This is my only go to for crabs. I have never been disappointed. I love that they are properly steamed and no baby crabs. Oh did I forget seasoned to perfection. Support our own Black Businesses!

Shrimp on the stick had a sweet vinegar taste to it and shrimp wasn’t cook all the way. Fried crabs were good but mushy “overcooked” as well as the steam. Also before I order I asked if the steam had sponges he said no but they had it on it anyways. I would come back for fried maybe and steam no sponge lol but hopefully next time.

I’m not big on seafood but this place provided the best for my family who are. Had an at home seafood boil and everyone was contempt with the crabs, mussels and shrimp. Friendly, hospitable place as well. If you’re ever down VA beach.. this is the place to go!
