I was in Indianapolis on business and I wanted to find an authentic brick oven pizzeria. Richard’s was about 20 minutes south of where I was staying in historic Franklin. I’ve never heard of it and it was out of the way, but the pictures of the community looked nice and the food looked impressive. So I figured I’d give it a shot. I was not disappointed.

There are plenty of pizza/pasta options. The food is yummy and will leave you wanting more. Varierty of beers, wines, liquors. I enjoyed a Strawberry Blonde ale. It was very refreshing. If you’re ever in Franklin, IN just right outside of Columbus/Edinburgh, IN… you should stop in. You’ll be glad you did.

Such a wonderful environment with an incredibly friendly staff. The food was amazing, starting with the Garlic Spinners, all the way to the cheese tortellini. The cherry on top was Hannah and her ability to make us feel right at home. Will definitely be back because of the staff and the food!

Awesome food but service is ALWAYS terrible. Long wait times for an empty restaurant….One surly server for the entire dining room. You can see the kitchen cranking out food but servers are no where to be found and it is so frustrating… you want to go grab your food getting cold off the counter yourself and refill your own drinks which we saw some people do.

I don’t even know where to start. We had our rehearsal dinner in the outdoor garden at Richards and it was an absolute dream! The atmosphere is a 10/10, the service was outstanding and as always the food was AMAZING. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Franklin, to get to share it with our friends and family from out of town was so nice! I don’t think it could have been any more perfect! Thank you so much to their entire team!

We go here frequently and it’s been a while since I posted a review. But we just love this restaurant. The food is very good (try the wild mushroom ravioli!) and the vibe is laid back. Service may not be efficient, but the staff is there to make your dining experience comfortable and casual.

I’ve heard the food is decent here but I wouldn’t know. I wasted 1 & 1/2 hours coming here and once I was seated the waiter/waitress never came around for drink orders. (Restaurant was a little over half capacity) The staff was kind but were clueless and never even noticed us after they gave us a table. I don’t recommend wasting your time coming here. Will not be returning to this establishment.

First the food was amazing pinwheels on point just a bit burnt. But a server with like black and red hair was running around and being loud and obnoxious and me and my friends were a bit annoyed and almost left. But the server I had was amazing
