Well that is the FIRST time ever asking a Chinese place to make something extra spicy and actually getting extra spicy! OMG like eating the flames of the sun! I got the orange chicken lunch special and an egg roll. Nice that tax is included so no doing math in your head. It’s really good and a large portion. I thought I might have been able to eat it all if it weren’t that hot. But I eat hot food all the time, so I love it as much as it feels like a spicy food challenge to eat. Haha. Definitely worth the money to grab lunch here.

I grew up eating lots of teriyaki in and around Seattle. This is definitely solid! The person who took and cooked our order was very friendly and there was a pretty courtyard area to eat in right by. The food was freshly made and hot.

Don’t let the appearance of the restaurant fool you! It may be a bit of a hole in the wall, but the food is very good. I’ve seen other reviews citing dry or bland food, but that was not my experience at all. I had the teriyaki beef, which was tender, saucy, and very well seasoned. Simple, delicious comfort food!

I stumbled across this place when I was hungry. At first it looks like a bit of a dive but there was a nice size line waiting to order not to mention a room full of customers already eating. So we ordered several lunch specials for $10 each. It was great! It was so good I have stopped in a few more times since my first visit last month and I live 30 minutes away! Good food, great p rice, we’ll be back!

I called in the beef teriyaki for lunch. Being this was my first order from here I did not know what to expect. My first thought was the price was a little high for lunch. Then I tried the food. Let me tell you it was amazing. I have ordered beef teriyaki from all over Portland. This place has all the rest beat. I will have to try a few more dishes and report back. Great when you can find a new lunch spot. The staff was super friendly and very helpful.
