Let me start off by saying how delightful this place is. The restaurant is super clean and very well maintained. We walked in and were greeted and seated quickly with our orders placed. We shared a bowl of delicious sausage and chicken gumbo. I had a beautiful, bright, colorful salad with crispy croutons, sautéed broccoli (that was absolutely fantastic), and the Crawfish Trap. The trap is a grilled fish fillet topped with crawfish etouffee. My husband had the special, which was fried chicken with amazing crispy, cruchy skin, cornbread dressing, and yams. All the food came out hot with so much flavor, the Louisiana flavors that I love and crave. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating and provided me with a to-go cup of sweet tea for the road.

It wasn’t anything you couldn’t get across the street at Popeyes for half the price. I was seated and never checked on again after my meal was served until time to pay. Most of the items say handmade, but as you can see, with even just the onion rings, it’s all been replaced with premade frozen to serve items. It was on the menu and everyone else was eating free ice cream, but I was never offered or saw any. Free dessert might had made up for the overpriced fried shrimp on a store bought boring roll. The meal pictured was $22 plus my drink.

Before the pandemic this was a great place to eat at. Some of the best crawfish etouffee you could get on I-10 with truck parking. It has been awhile since the reopening, and I’m happy to say the great food is finally back! Absolutely the best! But don’t just take my word for it. Stop by and give it a try! You won’t regret it!

Nice place. Service was great. Steaks were a little tough and flavour was not high quality for restaurant. Salad was nothing out of ordinary. Bread roll seemed it was from a frozen pack. Could have done better skillet cooking at home. But it was nice altogether. Gave it a 4 star because server was great.

The outside of this building doesn’t match the inside. I was leary pulling up to eat her but we were on a road trip & hungry so we decided to go in & it was definitely not what we were expecting. It was so clean on the inside, fast service, great service good food. I was kinda expecting more spice but it was delicious. My husband got red beans and rice, I got shrimp poboy with onion rings, my mom got chicken sandwich & kids got cheeseburgers. That complementary ice cream after dinner was the cherry on top of eating here.

We had a nice lunch here. As I eat vegetarian, we are always on the lookout for restaurants that have this on the menu. They have all-day breakfast as well with vegetarian options.

We really enjoyed our food, the waitress we hadn’t wasn’t the friendliest with us. But another waitress there chatted with us and made us feel welcome. Her name was Morgan. Hats off to her for taking the time, even though we wasn’t hers.

They get a 3 because the bathrooms were clean and most of the food was great. Otherwise it would have been a 1 or 2.
