I absolutely love Rice Bistro, but this location feels very unwelcoming, When we walked in, we were greeted nicely by a sweet young lady host, I think her name was Liz or something. We we’re sat, but then a manager named Kyoko came, and talked down on us, made my whole family me and my wife Grace feel uncomfortable. She was very rude, and you could tell the way she treats her staff that she is a very hostile manager. The food was great, but our appetites we’re already ruined by how we felt. We will not be returning until that lady is gone.

The host stand was very nice and accommodating when I asked if I could eat at a specific table with my wife, and my server Jamie was amazing and took great care of us. We loved the food however I will not be returning because of the manager Kyoko. She was rude and blunt and seemed rude to the servers and host stand. The management there should consider a new manager.

I GUARANTEE anybody that gave a 5 star review in the past 6 months was coerced with a free appetizer! Used to be a welcoming restaurant and environment prior to the management change. Now extensive wait times for orders, senior citizen at the hostess stand slow to action and unresponsive, rude manager in response to miscommunication and the food has definitely taken a dive also. Disheartened when a location you used to enjoy tumbles down hill.

Will not be returning. Upon being sat down at a table, we then requested a booth because our elderly grandmother’s back was hurting against the chairs. After asking to be moved, the manager (Kyoko maybe?) acted very rude and made it seem that we were an inconvenience to her. Until she is gone, we will not be coming back.

5 stars! My wife and I came here for our 15th anniversary and it did not disappoint. I was stationed in Japan and this is the best sushi restaurant I have been to state side, in comparison. Will definitely be coming back in the future.
