Thai hot is just ground peppers. Tried two dishes both Thai hot – one fried rice and red curry. The fried rice Thai hot was average spicy like medium low – had to add some sauce to make it more flavorful. The red curry Thai spicy was literal fire. Other than inconsistency in heat level the red curry tasted like ground pepper only. Thai hot in red curry is not recommended at all in my point of view) – waiter recommended this to get good flavor of curry to me. Chicken was chewy. Waiter was nice to give extra rice for no charge since the curry was very hot. Soup was good. Overall service was below average.

Amazing experience!!! Food was really great!! I got the Pho beef, and the bang bang shrimp, we also ordered papaya and some potato puffs which were delicious!! Service was really good, they kept checking up on us making sure we were good at all times!!

Rice and Spice is one of our absolute favorites! We’ve tried many dishes from their menu and have never been disappointed. The portions are generous, and the flavors are truly outstanding. The Tom Yum soup is a must-try – it’s delightfully spicy and full of flavor! Another standout dish is the Choo Chee Salmon, which is simply out of this world! On Friday nights, it can get a little busy, but it’s definitely worth the wait.

Went to Rice and Spice Thai Street Food and really enjoyed our experience. It is owned by a very sweet Thai couple. The food and service were excellent. We shared Thai Boat Noodles, which tasted similar to Vietnamese pho, Khao Soi, which was a delicious curry noodle soup, and Crab Fried Rice, which was light and full of flavor. I highly recommend checking this place out if you like good traditional Thai cuisine. We will definitely be going back to try other dishes soon.

Nice, cozy spot. Everything I have tried there tasted amazing. This is my go-to spot when new people come to town and everyone said this is one of the best Thai food places they have eaten at. Even converted a person who normally doesn’t eat Thai food to eating Thai food regularly! My favorite dish is the Spicy Basil Fried Rice and their Thai tea is really good.

Absolutely delicious!! I am fairly new to Charlotte and coming from the West Coast, I am extremely picky about my Thai cuisine. I’m so relieved I found a place, as the first restaurant I tried was average but had good ratings. I ordered the Red Curry and Pad Woon Sen and it was perfectly prepared. My request for level of spiciness is always “as hot as you can make it” and they didn’t disappoint. It was indeed VERY spicy (and I was warned), but the taste and flavors of the food didn’t get lost in the heat. If you know your Thai food, I highly recommend you try R&S. Note: Takeout. Host was kind, helpful and personable.

First time here! Impression was good. Nicely decorated! Neat and clean! Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The ‘Pad see U’ for me tasted a bit too sweet for me. The rice noodle quality was very good. The quantity was very generous for every dish we ordered. People who likes spicy Thai food might have to increase the hot degree when ordering. A+….
