New to the neighborhood. Not a single person friendly place. But, if you do no mind a single table.. the food is amazing. I had beef carpaccio (which was delicious, highly recommend) and a veal shank. I substituted mine for some greens, cause it is a hearty meal in itself. My server, Theo was very lively and efficient and had the best wine recommendation. Food came out fast. They do not have a bar (unfortunately) but they have dreams (clearly) Will be back, hopefully with a date

It’s really more like 4.5/5. The food and service are both great, but not WOW great, especially given the price. Got the veal filled ravioli and tiramisu. The ravioli is well made but the sauce lacks a some flavour, still delicious though. The finger cookies in the tiramisu are quite sweet so some fruits will go very nicely with it. They seem a little understaffed so the servers are not very attentive but the overall experience is still great.

While the bread served as a starter had a slightly stale texture, the olive oil made up for it. This trattoria impresses with its extensive menu options. However, it might benefit from focusing on a few signature dishes instead of offering an overwhelming variety. The Cornish hen had a slight greasiness to it, but the flavors were on point. Although the dishes didn’t taste exceptionally fresh, they were still very enjoyable. The server provided friendly and attentive service, ensuring my food arrived promptly.

The best Italian food I’ve had outside of actuality being in Italy. The service was fast and friendly. I would highly recommend this place located near Lincoln Park.

Absolutely amazing Italian restaurant – every dish we had was excellent, as were the drinks and dessert. Everyone there was uber attentive and friendly. This is definitely one I would come back to next time I am in Chicago.

Apparently my son and I were not the ideal clientele. We were nicely dressed, can easily afford the food. Ordered wine (for me), soda, finally had to ask to order the appetizer as waiter never even bothered to ask if we wanted. The appetizer meatballs were so-so. Nothing to write home about. Ordered our meals, those were better. Asked for another glass of wine (was never asked by waiter), then he was ready to bring check having never ask us about dessert, which we both intended on getting. The menu took three asks. My sons chocolate cake was meh. Got the bill promptly. Made sure to tip extra nice so the next time the waiter gets a young mom and her tween son maybe he’ll think twice out his service. Shame to have spent such money and been treated poorly and walked away so underwhelmed.

We accidentally came across this place on a rainy evening and what a find! One of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in Chicago. Loved the carbonara and the rigatoni. Apps and dessert were delicious too. They made very reasonably priced kids dishes despite not having any on the menu. Will be back for sure!

We enjoyed our meal and our waiter was wonderful! We had different friends recommend eating at Chicago Pizza and Oven Roaster, but accidentally went through the wrong door and ate here instead. The atmosphere felt refined and upscale. We were dressed for pizza and felt a bit underdressed after realizing we were in the wrong place. The eggplant dish was my favorite!! We will likely stop back in on a future trip.
