This was good. This is a new restaurant so there are clearly some things to work out but over this was a good experience. We arrived just after opening and the staff was still preparing to open. Even still we were seated in a timely manner. The service staff was friendly and nice albeit they were still trying to find their footing and get into a rhythm. We ordered the avocado appetizer to start. This was a good well thought out dish. I do think it could have been presented better if it were cut when served in half but it was a great combination of creamy and crunchy. We were also served chips with two kinds of salsa and a strange (felt out of place) bowl of noodle soup. The chips were not super tasty, maybe day old or just not a high quality. The two types of salsa were very flavorful and fresh. These were the blended kind and I prefer a chicly salsa but that’s just a preference of mine. The soup… I don’t understand the value in the soup. It was just broth and noodles. I don’t think it added any value to the experience.

My husband, brother and I went on a Thursday. We got the special. Steak, enchilada, chili relleno, shrimp, rice and beans. The steak was edible everything else was not. It was obvious that the chili relleno was frozen out of a box. It was nasty. The enchilada was cold. The one shrimp you get was more breading than shrimp. It was pounded out super thin then breaded. We paid over $100 for 3 meals. So not worth it. Go to La Casita or Taco Giro.

This is a great place for an event. They have a banquet room that is comfortable for maybe 50-70 people. The bar is attentive, the staff are friendly, and the refried beans are GOOD. I just wish they stayed open later.

Showed up on a Saturday at 6:30pm ordered food by 6:40. We ordered simple items Chips and salsa, guacamole and two taco platters. We got 1 bowl of chips and salsa and they said they were out of guacamole, after 25 minutes asked for a refill of chips they brought us a bowl of salsa and said they’re out of chips another 25 minutes later after they brought our food and it was incorrect they said sorry they ran out of taco shells so made the tacos from soft shells and they were hardly filled with beef the rice was old and crunchy and the beans had a hardend film over the top. I ate the tacos simply due to hunger couldn’t eat the beans and rice. They apologized and said they ran out of food and the cooks did their best to try and make it. They should have informed us before they left us to sit for an hour hungry and brought us the wrong things. I asked for a discount they offered 20% off which I felt was unreasonable after some talking they comped the meal but I had to go home and make something to eat. The waitresses were nice and staff were pleasant just really poor communication between them the kitchen and management. I will not go back and will not recommend them ever again.
