The food and customer service was the absolute best! I ordered the jerk chicken wing plate with rice and peas and cabbage and Rasta pasta, My boyfriend ordered the fish plate the fish was too spicy for him so they exchanged the his plate with no hesitation and he got the oxtails instead. He loved them! All the food was cooked and served to perfection! The staff made sure we were satisfied. We then placed additional Togo orders for more food! Such a great place! Thank you all for the hospitality.

Ricardo is one of the best business owners I have met in a long time!! He is so enthusiastic and friendly every time we go! Not to mention, he has the best wings hands down

Every once in awhile you stumble upon greatness. Let me tell you please! This place is SO good. Have you been to Jamaica and loved the food like me? Save yourself the price of airfare because Ricardo’s Fyahbon brings the taste of Jamaica here to us right here in Danville. Pleasantly spicy there jerk chicken is amazing!!! His Mac and cheese is well…I think the best I’ve had in my life! The cabbage is great and that is a great understatement. He has Rice and peas just like in Jamaica. Delicious, you really have to stop in here. His lunch Specials are only like $10 bucks!!! The food here is fresh and homemade everyday. This man knows how to cook!!! I promise I’ll be back.

This place is awesome!!! Ms. Barbara and Ricardo are so nice and they can throw down in the kitchen. I ordered oxtail which came with rice and peas and 2 sides. I ordered cabbage and rasta pasta….DELICIOUS!!! My brother had curry goat, mac and cheese, a side of oxtails, bok choy, a dumpling and coco bread. So delicious and friendly. I will return, often.

If I could give LESS than one star, I certainly would. I ate at Ricardo’s Fyahbon Jamaican Restaurant, with expectations of a good dining experience. The food was the worse Jamaican food I have EVER had. The service was rude and unprofessional with a side of attitude. The rice and peas were dry and tasteless. The Rasta pasta tasted like it came out of a box with no added attention to presentation or flavor. Lesson learned: I will NEVER eat at this establishment again and will be reluctant to go to another Jamaican Restaurant because of this terrible experience. Take this review very seriously.

Bland food! Do not be fooled by the good reviews. I can honestly say it’s the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever had. The collard greens were ridiculously salty. The cabbage wasn’t bad, but the rice and peas were just white rice with a few red beans in it. Dry and flavorless. The jerk wings were very bland and soggy. They just use Walkerwood basic seasoning and taste like they were sitting in the glass window since yesterday. I could have made better jerk at home. Even my 1 year old didn’t like the Mac and cheese. I can admit it looked good, but the texture was very weird and the taste was not good. My mom had the Rasta pasta, which was more like noodles in Alfredo sauce with a few peppers. There are two Jamaican places in Danville. I chose this one off the strength of the falsely good reviews. Do yourself a favor and go to the other establishment. I haven’t eaten there, but I can guarantee it’s not as bad as this.

I’ve tried several Jamaican restaurants in the past, but this was the best by far. The oxtails, rasta pasta, and collard greens were excellent! The manager was very customer-oriented and offered a sample prior to ordering. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Best Jamaican food in Danville!!! I love the curry chicken & beef patties, the jerk chicken, peas & rice, oxtails & cabbage. The rum cake is also delish as well as the ginger lemonade!!! Ricardo is also very friendly & welcoming!!
