We absolutely love eating at this place! The ribs have a great smoky taste and fall right off the bone. The homemade sides are wonderful. I especially love the loaded mashed potatoes and baked beans! Our favorite appetizer is the Triple Cheese Fries! YUMMY! You have to come try this place out if you haven’t already!

Hey guys…this is the place to eat. Ribs and a lot more. My first experience last week was incredible. All the ribs are cooked to perfection, great sauces on the table. The sides are very very good. Our waitress really understood customer service. I was very pleased with the total experience. Modest prices for the excellent quality of food.

(New edit as of 8/12) This place changed their name and ownership, and we can tell. The meat seems to be cheaper, and therefore dry. This used to be our go to place for date night, but it looks like we will be moving on. I do like that they were playing blues music now though.

My wife and I had dinner at Pig City and loved it! We got the ribs and they were absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!

We’ve been here several times in the past few years. I haven’t yet had any menu item I thought was bad, but I normally get the BBQ pulled pork sandwich lunch menu.

I could not get over the quality of the smoked meat. I mean, after all, is that not the main reason why you come to a barbeque place?

Rib City is a great place to eat. I particularly recommend the bacon-cheese fries, the baby half-rack pork ribs and the hamburger. I’m an amateur chef and do some Q myself. I’ve eaten Q in the south, in Texas, etc. You have to know what you’re doing, timing and preparation are everything. These guys have a nice smoker in the back that uses wood (I’ve even seen it). As I’ve smoked too, I know how hard that is to get just right and my hat’s off to such a small place for doing great Q. Oh, and the staff is nice–they’re pleasant, responsive and have always treated me well.

I received a gift card from work for this place and me and my wife decided to give it a try. We are both tough critics because I BBQ and smoke a lot of my own stuff which everyone loves so I was expecting some great food. I wanted to like it for those days I don’t feel like spending all day smoking my own food. But sadly I think I will stick to my own recipes.

I went for the first time yesterday. I’m impressed that they’re on Twitter and their marketing online. However, the food was ok, not a great value. My lunch was about $15 for a drink, ribs and key lime pie. It came with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was great. I’m afraid it wasn’t worth the lbs I put on for this meal though.

Not only the worst bbq exp of my life, maybe the worst dining exp. of my life overall. The portions were tiny, right on down to the half full cups of nasty sauce they sent me with. And, a 1/4 of an ear of corn…really? My ribs were cold and tasted like they were cooked yesterday, maybe they were because they obviously aren’t smoking ribs in a strip mall building. I have two theories on how they’re able to get good reviews: One, their friends/family submit all the reviews. Two, they’ve convinced locals their stuff is of quality because there’s nothing around to compare it to. To the same affect, dogs probably aren’t excited about eating dog food for the first time, but it’s edible and they get used to it. In all seriousness, “Rib City” should take a field trip to an actual BBQ city and learn a few things.
