It would be great to leave a good review. It is a great VIEW. But the restaurant service is terrible and the food is barely average.

Just okay. Decent portions to fill you up adventuring on the mountain. Tortilla chips and tortillas are mass produced. Guess and chorizo was just queso with a few lumps of queso. Had a decent burger, club sandwich, and stew. Meat in the stew was a bit tough and the bread on the club sandwich was over toasted so that when you bit it hurt the inside of your mouth.

I wanna give this a better score but I just can’t. I’m giving it 2 stars because I think thisbl place could be good but my experience was terrible. It wasn’t that busy when we got there. Ordered food and a drink. They made frinknfast but then forgot about my food. As I watched everybody who came in after me get my food I asked waiter if my food was still coming, he said yes. 20 more minutes pasted and the manager came over and basically said they lost my order. She then told me oh don’t worry it right here about to come out. 10 minutes later I just got a refund and they assured me again it was coming out soon. All I got was wings and chips and salsa

Excellent and knowledgeable server and bartender. Overall wonderful experience and good food. The salsa was the perfect amount of flavor and spice. Indoors is a little dated but charming.

Poor service. Staff seems to not care about visitors and ignore you even when you call them. Food is alright, nothing special.

Service has always been so-so, food is decent and they have a good beer selection for the most part!

Rude staff. They ignored us and waited on locals. We had to intrupt their conversations to get any service

We had lunch at Rhoda’s before an afternoon of skiing at Taos. The food was very good. I had their Turkey Club sandwich, which was very generously sized, and include a large helping of unusually tasty french fries. The wait staff was friendly and very courteous, and prices were ok for the amount of food. Only down side is that it took a little longer to get the food than I would have liked, but it arrived fresh and hot and the general ambience was hard to beat, sitting in the warm sun at the bottom of Al’s run! The outside dining was in a sheltered spot, with radiant heaters, and was plenty warm enough on a sunny February day.

Chicken fried steak in New Mexico. I asked the waiter what he thought about the chicken fried steak, I told him I was from central Texas, he responded, “We’ve had some Texans tell us the steak was pretty good”. So I went ahead and ordered. Surprisingly the chicken fried steak was really good. But it appears that shortly after that visit the Chicken Fried Steak was discontinued.
