Has a decent atmosphere, but the food is ridiculously expensive for what you’re getting, and the bartender does an extremely poor job of checking in with clients. There were 4 total couples there and we ended up having to flag down the barback because the bartender practically ignored us after giving us menus.

Absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never left a review in my life but I’m taking the time so you don’t waste yours. Go somewhere else. Took an hour to get a burger and beer. And the fries were cold.

At hotel Derek for a conference and Revolve is not doing it for me. Supposedly our order was taken to avoid the lunch rush…..didn’t see a rush or people in there…..yet it still can’t 15 minutes before we had to get back to the conference and we say down before 12pm. Took the same amount of time to get a straw for my drink. Everyone seemed in a rush to go nowhere and everything appeared unorganized and in a shuffle. Ordered the dirty BLT…..don’t do it. The entire place is overrated. We should have just chanced it and gone somewhere else to eat. Let’s see how long it takes to get the check and pay. Oh what do you know the check came faster than it food….but not faster than getting my card back.

Mr bartender after serving me 4 or 5 drinks in period of 2 hours decided to tell me he won’t serve me anymore while it was still 30 mins to the closing, so I had to rethink my tip of almost 80 to a 10$, and the food?? Not worth of nothing.

I came on a late Wednesday night. Business was steady but not busy by any means. The bar area itself is huge and the decor was beautiful, and they even have pool tables and sitting areas in the back. When I sat down I was greeted by the bartender and chose the cocktail that was their take on a french 75 and was made very well and tasted great. Here is when the issue arises – he was the only bartender behind the bar and where I was sitting was towards the back of the horse shoe area, so he either forgot about me or couldn’t see me and it would take me almost 30 minutes to get another drink. Towards kitchen closing time he offered a late night food menu to see if I wanted to get anything, so I ordered the Cajun mac n cheese (sounded good in theory). The cheese was very bland, and tasted like they just threw a bunch of tony chachere’s on it. There were a few bell peppers thrown in there and then the smallest overcooked shrimp you’ve ever seen, and no ham to be found even though it said ham on the menu. Low and behold I’m waking up at 2am vomiting up – you guessed it – cajun mac n cheese. Not a pleasant experience at all. I would recommend if you go to sit at a very visible area of the bar, and order something that is hard to mess up like a salad. I might go try again in a year to see if they can fix this because I love staying at this hotel.

So we didn’t get to eat here as we planned due to the cooks not being at work, not sure where all their cooks were but one employee did recommend some other restaurants to dine at around the area but definitely inconvenient at the time but we appreciated the recommendations.

Ate here one time while staying at Hotel Derek and ended up with horrible food poisoning. I was sick for over a week, but the hotel was nice enough to let us have a 3pm check out after spending the entire night hugging the toilet.
