My visit to Retro Metro was fantastic! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. Each dish we tried was excellent, the shrimp cocktail with the horseradish cocktail sauce is a must try, as is the flash fried spinach. The Victor-EE ribeye was one of the best steak I have had in a long time. Marinated, and grilled to perfection! Retro is a must try!

This was our first time trying Retro after it being highly recommended by a close friend. When we arrived for our 6:30 reservation the lobby had several people waiting and no one was there to greet us. After a few minutes a hostess showed up and got our name. She said she needed to clean off a table and then could seat us. We waited around 15 minutes before we were sat. The whole process felt jumbly. There are 3 drink menus to maneuver through and one massive dinner menu (that’s really a touch overwhelming) to peruse. Waiter was friendly. My husband ordered a glass of red wine and was brought white but it was corrected upon telling the waiter. The best part was the food. I had previously had the flash fried spinach at their sister restaurant and it did not disappoint! Unique and delicious. Everyone at the table devoured it. I ordered the filet tips and it was a huge portion and the meat was cooked perfectly and was tender enough to cut with my fork. Love the surprise, fresh from the oven, chocolate chip cookies . Side note: We did not love the ambiance. It honestly felt like the owner asked everyone to show up on a Saturday and bring a piece of art or flowers with them to decorate. Also, not their fault but we had an obnoxiously loud lady sitting behind us for part of the evening. We asked if we could move but nothing opened up. Overall, loved the food…not the experience

Great place!! We went on oyster night. The oysters were perfect! Tasted like the sea. The drinks were spot on and Selena was great! Wonderful service and so attentive to us even though she had two huge parties! She made us feel like she was just for us!! Food was awesome too!

Went for lunch and enjoyed the fun atmosphere and great customer service. You seriously need to try the spinach… yesI said spinach! It is out of this world. Great wine list, serving lunch, happy hour and dinner, patio seating, and great food make this a place worth checking out.

Went there for dinner this past Wednesday 01/11 first time, we sat right away. Food wasn’t that bad at all, we started with the calamari, nothing special, too much artichoke than a calamari. Then we both have Cesar salad, you can actually taste the anchovies which is not bad at all. I can’t remember what steak I order, it was $72 cooks perfectly but it was so thin and not enough flavor. The cocktails were good, I had the snowflakes martini, and my wife had a cranberry something. Overall it was good, it can be better for the price you paying. We will definitely be going back.

Selena was great – we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and she provided service that was above and beyond for us and for my takeout order! I brought two friends from out of town who hadn’t been before and they were very pleased and impressed! Hope Selena is my waitress next time! Love the new Parmesan Corn too!

Our first experience today was awesome. We took a party of 10 there for a graduation celebration. Our waitress Madison was awesome and very patient as we asked a ton of questions and changed our minds multiple times. Everything – appetizers, salads, entrees and sides – was amazing. Not one complaint and some in the group talked about their meal long after we left. Highly recommend.
