This place serves authentic mexican food, if you want to have a taste of original Mexican food, I hardly recommend to come here. Is a little bit of waiting time, but is because your food is prepared right at that moment. I give 20 out of 10 to this place.

Favorite Mexican food by far. I travel all the way from Orange County because we have nothing like this here. I originally made a review criticizing the lack of spice in the salsa but to my surprise they made it spicier! You won’t be disappointed

It’s a small hole-in-the-wall joint but I enjoyed the food here. I ordered 2 quesadillas doradas (deep-fried). They were made fresh on the spot which I meant I did have to wait a little longer but worth the wait. All their menu items are listed on a wall but no formal menu is available.

Terrible! I ordered a Green Chile Burrito with no rice and little beans. The beans were flat tasting. The Green Chile tasted like it came from a can, and the pork meat were scraps from other dishes. Every piece of pork was attached to a piece of bone with gristle and chunks of fat. I fed it to my dogs and they wouldn’t eat it. Just outright nasty.

First Time and Definitely will be coming back. I dont normally post a review on my first visit, I usually wait until a second visit. Therefore I’m a bit conservative with 3 Stars.

Small location, big on taste and freshness! I don’t see why it’s still called a carneceria (meat market) as you can’t get meat but the restaurant portion is all it needs. They should remodel and make it a bigger cooking area and maybe some booths instead of the simple tables. Food selection is something like 30-40 items but they do them very well. Birria, menudo, pozole, tacos, burritos, tortas. All the usual Mexican stuff done very very good!

It was a little more expensive than similar restaurants in the area.
