This place is just so good. We went a few months ago and had to wait (they don’t take reservations and the space is small esp in winter) but it was worth the seat at a tiny table in a crowded room. The food is deliciously curated small plates and amazing craft cocktails. Service is friendly and helpful. Seems like there’s a lot of locals or friends as there’s always people talking to staff, laughing, & reconnecting; which can be a little overwhelming but also gives it a welcoming family feel. Just popped in recently when they had outside seating and didn’t have to wait. Everything was just as good. The food’s on the pricier side but the vibe is less fine dining, more hip, younger, craft food. The drinks seem very reasonable for bespoke cocktails. We’ll be back a lot.

Waw, waw, waw! This place was sooo good… My fiancé and I came here on a little weekend getaway, walked by and asked for a table for two. There was a waiting list, but the host gently offered us to sit nearby and order a drink. We had one drink and they quickly called us to sit. The menu had all tempting items, we went with the seafood platter, the goat, the burger and the chicken Katsu. All were delicious! Even the cocktail was great. Service was good and the vibe/music was fun. I wish I took photos of the dishes, but I was too busy eating! We really enjoyed our dinner and highly recommend you to come eat here. Kudos to the chef and team ! Thank you for making great food.

We went to Poco on a Friday in mid September right at 5:30 PM as they opened. A small line of about 7 groups was already formed. As we got to our table and reviewed the menu we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and tasteful music – which was mostly 70s through 90s. The menu had about 12-15 items to order for tapas. Roughly half were meat and half were largely vegetable based. The drink and cocktail menu also had a nice assortment of options mostly between 10-13 dollars. We went with 3 tapas food items: the fingerlings (roasted potato chunks with a crispy exterior complete with rosemary and a high end parmesan with an aioli), the Kung Pao cauliflower (which was marvelously cripsy with one of the best asian style sauces I have had in Burlington), and the 7 spice chicken (very soft thigh-like meat and deeply marinated in a curry). We reviewed the food in that order with about 5-8 minutes between each of them. I would also rate them in that order as well – with the fingerlings being a must have for anyone going to Poco. All in all I came to Poco with a hunger for tapas and the variety and quality of the sauces, flavors, and ingredients were excellent. This is now in my top 3 restaurants in Burlington. It is great value and about 20-25 bucks per person getting about 1.5 dishes. If you are in the area and hungry for a nice blend of foods look no further!

I wish I had taken photos of the food, but when the plates were brought out we literally couldn’t wait to eat them. This restaurant is an example of how a restaurant is run in Europe. The kitchen is run like an assembly line (not that they are not creative, quite the opposite, but everyone has a their own job to assist in creating perfection), the servers were friendly and professional.

Absolutely extraordinary food. One of those meals where you find yourself closing your eyes a lot so you can experience it fully. I don’t think you could go wrong with any item on the menu – every dish we had was unique and memorable. Our server was a delight and the atmosphere is chill and pleasant. This is definitely now a strong contender for my favorite restaurant in Burlington!

Apart from the woman at the door being quite rude to us for no apparent reason at the start of the evening, it was a good experience. The food and drinks are 10/10, tasty and beautiful. Music was great (in our opinion as it was a lot of reggaeton and Spanish music). Worth leaving the main drag of restaurants for – we recommend 🙂

This restaurant is FANTASTIC. My wife and I spent a weekend in Burlington eating at some of the better known and respected restaurants and happened to walk by this place one morning on our way to the bakery, August First. Intrigued, we decided to check it out on our last night and we fortunately saved the best for last. They don’t take reservations and despite being busy we were able to grab a window table. You’re able to see some parts of the lake from the outdoor and front window seats which is nice. The staff, including the owners, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is inclusive and fun with great music and an eclectic mix of patrons.

Fresh and tasty food at a very good price in a BYOB. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Our favorite new discovery that has set the standard to which we now compare other Mexican restaurants.

Amazing food!! Music a little loud and not our (outdated) genre. Server might have been having a bad day, or maybe it’s just part of the edgy vibe they’re going for. The food was so great that we’ll be back, hopefully not offending the staff if we ask to sit far from the speakers.
