Cotton is absolutely incredible!!! I have been 2x and will absolutely be back on my next trip to town. 1st visit I had the meatloaf, it was very good. Today I had the pork shank, OMG! The pork was absolutely incredible!

I enjoyed my gastric adventure in this beautifully restored historic building. When traveling out of town, we enjoy creative southern dining and this might be my favorite so far. Waitstaff seemed a little bit overloaded, but we’re still willing to answer all questions and be patient with our kids.

I was in town for work with my general manager and we decided to give this place a try. Not figuring it would be too terribly busy on a Tuesday evening. There was a decent number of people but not overly crowded, however it took over 15 minutes just to have someone come by to take our initial drink order and only AFTER I flagged down one of the THREE waitstaff that walked right by our table without even acknowledging us. I have no idea what the waiters name was that finally came to wait on us as he didn’t introduce himself and quickly took our entire order. After we got the food never saw anyone again until we waved them down to get the check to leave. The food was fine, but the server never asked if we wanted drinks, dessert, anything. It felt like we just not welcome and they were more worried about tending other tables. The guests that sat behind us received prompt service from the same server that worked our table so I was a little shocked how attentive he was with them. Everyone else in the restaurant seemed to get fast friendly service as well save for us so I’m not sure what the deal was. We were very patient and did not make a fuss at all although my manager was not happy. The place had a neat atmosphere and had the potential to be a great evening but most certainly fell short. We wanted to make mention of our issues to the hostess before we left but she was MIA and we were over it at that point and ready to leave. Unfortunately this fell short of expectations and likely won’t be back.

Let me start off by saying this is what I consider a high end restaurant. Bring money and make a reservation to guarantee you a seat. This is not a big place. Now for the food. We ordered duck wraps. There were only 4 of them, but they were extremely delicious. I think I could have just ordered more for my meal. My wife ordered the redfish and some peas. She really liked the redfish, but she did find a few bones and a scale on it. I had their pasta. It tasted good, but it was a little dry. The building is really old which I like. It’s right on the Ouachita River. Overall, it’s a nice restaurant with good ambiance.

He had the steak kabobs and whipped potatoes and cheese cake and a sweet tea said it was the best meal ever. I had the grits and shrimp and Chocolate cookie with ice cream and I had to agree with him it was incredible food! I highly recommend this restaurant it was so delicious!

Good food with decent service. Their farmers salad was great. My partner enjoyed their Nashville hot chicken. Only vegetarian options are their salads.

This was the first time I’d been here. The waiters were very nice and attentive. I did have a couple issues and one was resolved quickly. There was a problem with my order and maybe the next visit will be great! The rest of my family enjoyed their meal. I must admit the mimosa was great. I will be back to try them again, and hopefully give a 5 star review. Just know they want to make your dining experience nothing less than perfect.

Not only is West Monroe, LA, a gem of a place to visit- so is this restaurant. The atmosphere is historic-chic (?). Jessica was our waitress – exceptional. She knew the dishes and even the history of the building and town, going out of her way to share photos and articles. Now, to the food- superb. The burger, although seemingly basic on the menu, was the most gorgeously prepared meal I have had in ages. The fries were unique and were seasoned and prepared in a manner that heightened the experience. The creole pasta was rich and spicy but light enough even for lunch. The dessert – peach pie (?) – was out of this world. Last, the manager – so kind and interested. He checked on us. He even gave us a tour of the building and the upper-level venue and bars- luxurious, historic, handsome, classic, up-scale, curated. What a wonderful experience- could not have asked for a better surprise. Finally, I have 2 registered service dogs (@ReadyTheDachshund). The team was so kind and generous with their accommodations. We will definitely be returning and hope for continued success of this fine establishment!

My wife and I were passing through on business and decided to give this place a try. Wow does NOT come close to express words when you talk about flavor, balance and portion serving. Everything that was prepared was done perfectly.

Busy for a Monday I think. Food took a while but worth the wait! Every bite was cooked to an artistic perfection. There were no bad choices on the menu. Drinks are unique. Will return!
