Magnificent Bastard
It was a nice place, the waitress was polite and courteous. The food was great, nice presentation but it did take longer than expected to get it but worth the wait because we weren’t in a hurry. The atmosphere had a bed and breakfast feel. My partner’s steak came out slightly undercooked but the second one was perfect, and there ranch dressing made in house has crumbled cheese.

Excellent in all aspects; service, venue, food and drink, staff… Everything. We had shrimp and scallops entree and smoked chicken entree, both superb… And in very large portions. Sides and salads were top-notch, fresh and flavorful. French onion soup was also delicious, perfect for a chilly November evening. The selection of local craft beers and wines added just the right touch. Our first time here for dinner, but R209 has certainly moved into the “Favorite” local position!

Finally a restaurant in our area with delicious foods and delightful atmosphere! From salads to entree, the meal was fresh and innovative. Prepared with attention to detail and a treat for the palate. It is obvious that the chef loves to think outside the box and is not afraid of trying something unique. We will return!

Great place to find. Husband had prime rib. He was very happy. I had the curried spiced shrimp pasta. Was fabulous. Polenta was tasty, and 12 bean ham soup was the best ham and bean soup I have had. Wish we had left room for dessert. Owner visits every table to make sure visit is good.

Very nice. They open at 5 for dinner and we were on time, the first ones there, had a reservation for 4 but it still took a while to get someone to seat us and wait on us. Really good food but we were there for almost two hours. The French onion soup was not as fabulous as a previous review but still good. I would return for a special occasion and if I didn’t have anywhere to go afterwards.

The owners and staff were super friendly and the building had amazing historic charm. The outdoor patio where we ate was inviting and the meal were delicious!!! The cheesecake and strawberry shortcake were totally worth the calories and an extra trip to the gym. The prices were very reasonable. Coming from Long Island, the same meal would have been double the price! We had a huge Delmonico steak with a delicious mushroom topping that we shared between us and the Mac and cheese special was scrumptious! A must try!

Amazing food! Saturday night birthday dinner – the best filet I have ever had. All people in the party were completely satisfied with their meals. And enjoy the character of this large old home. Don’t miss out on stopping into this fabulous restaurant.

Excellent food, the owner was gracious and so friendly, the house was spectacular and the bar intimate and cozy with some excellent beverage selections. I admire any restaurant that try’s to stay local from their bar menu to their food and she certainly does. We are so fortunate to have a nice place to dine in Bath finally!! Highly recommended. We will be back!

Decent food, though it’s just too overpriced for the area. Since the plates don’t come with french fries, I expected a third the price for a side of chips. The up-charge for an egg on a BLT was insane. I’m used to it in a city like Chicago but not Bath. I was happy they served local craft beers on tap though there are enough restaurants in driving distance with food comparable to price to not need to go here.
