The 3-stars comes from the service, which was great! They have a lot of local beers on tap which is awesome! Unfortunately, they served beer out of milk glasses and each beer was an old line pour. They looked decent in the glass, but were flat and lacking flavor. We came on a Tuesday and had the tacos. The tacos were OK, nothing to give up your regular taco Tuesday spot for. If you’re looking for solid beers, hit up a local brewery for the freshest pours.

One of the best restaurants in the area. The food and cocktails were delicious and ingredients tasted very fresh. Our 2nd time here but we will continue to patronize. Zoe was our server and she was quick with service and explaining items.

The online menu isn’t what’s available on site. What’s on the printed menu may not be available either. The muffin tops were dry & gummy (yes both) the dollop of maple icing wasn’t maple flavored nor was the strawberry whip filling from the French toast strawberry. The grit cakes however were very yummy. Bottomless Mimosas are your best bet.

Had brunch on a Sunday and it was not busy. We were one of 2 tables in the entire restaurant. Took a long time to get our food but it was amazing! Tried the pimento cheese scrambled eggs and crab cake Benedict. Sooooo good!

Kayla was our server, great service. I tried the big O beer, it was good kind of fruity but I liked it. We came in Saturday around 2 when they had bottomless mimosas…. So a crowd of drunk girls, but it was fun to watch. The bacon was good very thick cut, and flavored. The hang over hash was really good. Not too big of a portion which was perfect and came in a skillet.

They have a decent selection of craft beer. The wait staff is usually prompt and nice enough. But, they get two stars for the awful food. Everything is fried or breaded and coupled with the worst selection of sides I’ve ever seen on a menu. I miss Flying Saucer. And that’s not saying much. No wonder there’s only 5 or 6 patrons there at a time.

Awful , no one in my group liked their food. Shrimp and grits didn’t have grits but some kind of “fried corn”, is how the waitress described it. The menu did not state the artist expression of shrimp and grits that I received. To add it was served in a pool of orange liquid.

Service was decent. I tried Tacos, they were terrible. The “chipoltle BBQ” sauce on them tasted like Sweet Baby Ray’s or some other overly sweet sauce. Pork Belly was over cooked. The shrimp and grits were good. Looks like they have the same number of taps as Flying Saucer, but beer selection is not as good.

Love everything about Republic! My fav spot to go! So many beers to choose from. The mac and cheese and pickle fries are to die for! Servers and bartenders are amazing ! Such a cool vibe too.

Came here for brunch on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! They weren’t busy at all, server was great, the food was delicious and I got a mimosa for $5. Can’t beat that! Would definitely come back.
