After dropping my son off at school this morning, I almost did my normal routine and turned right onto 52 to head back to Opp to get breakfast. However at the last moment, I recalled seeing a sign out in the Perry Store Community that read “Now Serving Breakfast”. So I hung a left and headed toward Perry Store.

Stopped for breakfast this morning and it was really great. Pretty good deal if you compare it to a fast food drive in on cost and tons better food. This owner is working hard to make this diner something special. I’m happy to have been able to support her. I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

We stopped mid drive to Florida here and boy what a delightful surprise. The restaurant was supremely clean and the buffet was hot and fresh. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and my husband was raving about the meatloaf.
