The food was amazing! If you like homemade food that taste like it came from your kitchen this is the place to go! Our server was friendly and helpful. At the end of our meal they brought out a HUGE tray of delicious looking desserts all freshly made. We order 3 different desserts and all were fantastic, a chocolate raspberries cake, a creamy vanilla custard type of cake and a tiramisu cake! To our surprise about 4 servers came over to our table and sang happy birthday to my husband when they served our desserts! It’s a warm and welcoming establishment.

We went to this place to celebrate a friend’s birthday and everyone ordered the usual steak and potatoes or pasta. I asked for a real Polish food and the suggested the Polish Sampler. It was pretty good, loved the pickled cabbage and pieroggis with meat stuffing. Quite delicious. The view of the lake was nice and relaxing and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had such a nice meal. Would live to come back if only it’s closer to me.

I’m kinda torn. They were nice enough, but they somehow forgot about us for a while. I’m a very patient person, but I was about to leave when the manager came over and asked if we had seen a waitress yet and we said no. When we finally ordered I got a cola that I could tell didn’t have enough syrup in it from 15 feet away. I tried to say something but the person who brought it over scampered off. I managed to stare down the manager who came over and she asked me what was wrong and I pointed to my soda which was a very light brown. She asked me if it was flat and I said no, you need to change the syrup on it. She took it away and I got a new soda shortly afterward that was fine. They were very apologetic about the wait and the soda. The food was about as authentic Polish as you can get and delicious. The pickle soup was great and I got the platter which had all my favorites. The kielbasa was very good quality which is KEY at a Polish restaurant. I would have flipped out if they tried to give me some Hillshire Farms. They comped us our appetizer and then gave us a dessert for free to apologize for the wait and the soda. I appreciated the sentiment but wished they had been more intuitive and I would have had a great experience. I was kind of sad about that overall. The decor was 100% authentic old school family restaurant and the location was lovely with a great view of the lake and a great sunset. I will probably return, but I will probably be very judgemental.

Walked in for husband’s birthday. Out of all the tables only 3 were being used. She asked if we had reservations even thought 15 plus tables were empty. She offered us the worst seat in the place and told us next time to make a reservation. Wont be a next time. We left, very disappointed after many years of going here and living in this neighborhood for many years. One bad experience has ruined a lifetime of joy here. Never again.

We had a wonderful family meal here recently. The staff were so helpful and friendly, our waitress Stefanie really went above and beyond. The food was excellent, homestyle Polish cuisine that was hearty and delicious. Don’t miss the weekend specials, roasted duck and Polish pickle soup were so good!

Our server, Janeth was awesome. She made suggestions on the menu and was very personable. Food was delicious. This place was absolutely slammed and the entire staff was working very hard to keep up. The owner was even stepping in to take orders. There was a very rude table next to us that was being unreasonable, so if they leave a review like they said they were going to, ignore it.
