Employees are extra friendly. Every one of them will see if you need anything. Food was typical diner food, I believe, is good. I enjoy the fact you can see the cook. No funny business. Cute, cozy, and friendly. I will definitely be going back.

I must have driven by here 1,000 times as an East Syracuse resident and I’ve never given them the time of day… until today that is. What a mistake to have missed so many breakfasts here. I got the frittata (half) and holy moly. It came out steaming hot and loaded with deliciousness. What a gem. I’m reluctant to post this review and lose my table there but good work needs to be recognized

I was in the area super hungry and this was the closest diner. My sister and I really enjoyed the food. I had eggs, sausage, home fries, and pancakes. The home fries were crispy and fresh. The eggs and pancakes were fluffy. The staff were also very friendly! It was like being at grandmas house for breakfast.

What can I say about the Redwood Diner? And East Syracuse institution for decades! Ever since I was a little boy I remember going to the Redwood. I’m 64 years old. I love the place. The new owner is very cool. He’s a young guy he knows how to cook. They got a great menu. Get over there and check it out. A little piece of East Syracuse history right there on Main Street.

I had a hiccup with Grubhub and the diner made me a new order and arranged a new delivery promptly. Instead of just telling me to call a service line they resolved the issue expediently and I am very, very grateful. The staff listened to my concerns and were very friendly/understanding. The food is amazing and I look forward to going to the diner in person next time.

This is a nostalgic breakfast spot. You don’t see many like it anymore. Once I walked in the door I was greeted by the cooks and the server. Even the patrons were cordial and welcoming. They immediately sat me down and served me some hot fresh coffee and a large orange juice. I ordered the hash and eggs, one of my favorites and it came out very shortly after. I’ve driven past many times but never stopped. I’m happy I did and look forward to trying more from the menu. They’re definitely worth a 5 star rating.

This little resturant is a hidden gem. Been here for years but the new kids who own and work here have reseracted this to a diamond in the rough. Food is awesome and prices are very fair. Smiles greet you with a wave from the owner. Come hungry – leave full – repeat! You won’t be disappointed.

HIIII Redwood!! Thank you for the awesome service last weekend. I took my granddaughters and they, as well as myself, loved the french toast. I think you maybe the only place that does it with french brioche bread. Love it!!! If I may suggest doing a brown sugar french toast, I like those also. We will def come again.
