Red’s Grill &Pub the beer is cold and they serve a non alcoholic beer if you want it. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The food was excellent. Gypsy had the Hot Beef dinner one of the local favorites. I had the French Dip with onions and Swiss cheese plus french fries. The restaurant was very clean and neat. This is a definite stop when you are in the area. We will definitely return to this restaurant whenever we can.

My coworkers asked me to try this place since I’m from Louisiana. Reviewing the menu I saw the typical Cajun fare, but not ones I usually partake of or they were prepared in ways I don’t particularly like. Nice thing about Cajun food is you can mix and match and substitute lots of things when it’s your personal cooking. Understandably not so easy at a business.

Update: they have a modified menu for the Rally. This menu has fries and no substitutions allowed, unless you pay extra. The posted board menu is the regular menu, the paper menu is the “rally menu”. As most places they up charge during the rally. Now they have taken away the bbq brisket and other items that make this place unique. Sadly is now just a bar with average burgers.

Not a lot of tables inside so we ate on the front covered patio. My burger was fine but the fries were the standard 1/2″ square size and were not very crispy. Some employees took their smoking break at a table on the outside edge of the dining area so I was disappointed that we had that smell coming our way.

Excellent food and atmosphere! Coming from the southern parts of Ms & AL. If feels like walking into a pub in Louisiana. Sheree Shriver and her awesome family has done an superb job of bringing the south to South Dakota. If you miss coming to this gem in Sturgis. Hit up the Jambonz in Rapid City! You will Not Be Disappointed.
