Probably the worst BBQ I’ve had in my lifetime. We couldn’t get over the over abundance of salt on EVERYTHING. We were blowing salt off of every bite, and it was still too salty. Portion size on the chopped barbecue sandwiches was laughable. Even the smoked sausage was salted! How this placed achieved a 4.7 rating before we ate here is beyond me. Took a half hour to get our food with a mostly empty dining room.

Brisket, Jalapeño Sausage, Mac & Cheese, and Onion Rings. The staff was great and provided the definition of customer service. I did find the brisket lacking any features that would make is a Texas brisket. No real pepper taste or salt. The BBQ sauce carried the meal in my opinion. I did find the sides tasty but it was missing the real star of the show. I’m not a believer in giving anything below a four star review to a mom & pop but I would look at other BBQ joints in the area

Family owned very friendly. Red’s Bar B Que was very busy mind you we got there right at lunch time Thursday, which was the plan. But for as busy as it was we got our food fast and very fresh. Thursday is cheese burger special. Best cheese burger I have had in north Texas. I will be back for the ribs next. On the second visit we did not get the ribs it was burger day, and they were just as yummy as the first. We did try the fried Turkey app. Oh my they are so good I couldn’t stop eating them, please try them.

Red’s is just a good ol’ fashioned BBQ joint, and it was delicious. I had the catfish platter specially, which came with more than enough food for me. One of us has the chopped brisket BBQ sandwich special (they have daily specials, just check the website). The brisket was super moist and flavorful, and the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. All the kids got the chicken strips kid’s meal, which came with more food than they could eat! Everything was a fair price, especially for the amount of food we got. Add to that a really friendly staff, and it was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Omg hands down the best around this part of town! So happy to have them here! The food is delicious! This burger basket is to die, the meat is juicy & the way the cheese melts on the meat makes this a great burger! Being only $5.00 on Thursdays makes this a tasty buy! Stop buy & enjoy a different variety of food that you’ll love!

12- 16-2022- Not impressed AT ALL!! For the price my wife and I paid, the meal was VERY lacking. I ordered a 2 meat 2 side plate, my wife, a 1 meat 2 side plate. She actually got more meat than I did. The meal was served on paper…. Not even a plate. The cook actually walked out along with the waitress/cashier with our bread in his tongs, forgot to put it on our trays. Apparently, that’s a toss up too. One was sesame bread the other was regular toasted, but hey we got bread. Their drink machine was mostly out of order. No tea at all available with excuses at the ready (they were out at the store)-they did offer a refund for the lack of drink, after the fact. But did not offer even a glass of water. Their food tasted like it was directly out of a can or the microwave. The brisket was good, but that was it. We WILL not be coming here again, nor would we recommend Red’s to anyone….ever. Not sure where all these 4 star reviews came from. For the lack of product available and cost vs what we received this was literally one of the poorest choices for lunch we’ve ever made. Avoid if possible!!!

I’ll go ahead and give 5 stars since they were very nice. We got their tuesday rib soecial for 8.50, pretty good deal. The ribs were good but not great. I prefer ones not quite as fall off the bone. They weren’t bad and if you like fall off I’m sure you’ll love them. Now to their reds fries, they are awesome when hot and fresh. A little salty but really good and can’t wait to get them again. We always order the same type of fries at another place just a little south down the road and we love both of them.
