My husband and I visited the Red Velvet bistro this past Sunday and Coffee was our waitress. The service was great. Coffee gave suggestions and made sure we were taken care of. The food was pretty good. I would have given 5 stars but the collards were just ok, and I live for some collard greens. I got the pork chops and my husband got the fried chicken. Overall great experience we will come back on a different day when it’s more lively.

Family!!! Let me tell yall, let me tell yall!! My goodness today!! So this gem right here!! I had the pleasure of tasting the fried lobster and strawberry waffles (no syrup needed), the catfish and grits (fish cooked to perfection) and the oxtail and grits (the gravy, the gravy, the gravy and the creamy grits) and for the appetizer, 10 out of 10 recommend the Salmon Bites!!!!! . I was in a food coma when I left here. Lol. The atmosphere is chill and inviting. Our waitress Kera was the ABSOLUTE BEST! She was the epitome of what you want in your server. Friendly, knowledgeable, offered suggestions, highly recommended dishes, and gave her personal favorites. Excellent customer service. 10 !! When I come back to visit, I will definitely be back. Thank you for making my first visit the best!!

Heard that this spot had really great food so I couldn’t wait to try it. We got there around noon and was seated immediately. I ordered the breakfast plate that comes with grits, eggs, biscuit, and either bacon or sausage. I went with the sausage. My guest ordered the catfish and grits; which came with a biscuit and they ordered a side of eggs. The food came out pretty fast; which was a good thing because we were hungry. The grits and eggs were very good, but the link sausage wasn’t all that good to me because it tasted like polish sausage and I don’t really care for it. Before I ordered I asked my waitress what kind of sausage and she said just your basic pork sausage. The biscuit was fluffy when it first came out but once it sat for a minute it was hard. My guest said the catfish was really salty and as they were saying that; a gentleman at the next table was complaining about the same thing. Oh and they have a set of “house rules” at each table.

Celebrated Dads 80th Birthday.He wanted lamb chops. He loved them. We had a party of 10. Service was great, food was good especially the ma n cheese. Snapper,fried chicken and southwestern egg rolls were my favorite…

Took mom here for Mother’s Day 2023 & what a special treat it was!! Everything was A+ as you can see from her smile! We ordered seafood omelette & chicken w/red velvet waffles! Yummy ❤️❤️

Red Velvet Bistro is a nice quaint place, with several dishes for brunch & dinner. My first time I tried the Peach French toast, which was very good. However, they were out of the regular chicken, and had the smaller wings. They were also out of my first choice, the lamb chops.

Wednesday afternoon visit. First time here. They don’t offered iced tea here and parking is not the greatest but the food and customer service was great. We had the lobster fried rice and fried lobster w/ strawberry waffles, strawberry mimosas- no complaints at all. The food was fresh and seasoned well. I would definitely come back to try some other items on the menu.

Better if you’re hungover. The food just isn’t great and it’s expensive for food that tastes reheated. The server we had was lovely though. Probably won’t be back.
