We were in town for the holiday with some friends who wanted to get some crawfish, and had never been to Red Tailz but heard good things so wanted to give it a try. They were out of crawfish because the season ended early due to the weather getting so hot so fast.

1st fish taco tasted weird, should have stopped there and the 2nd was vomited back into the plate. Absolute horrible food! I happily paid for my meal because I chose to try this place, but will not make this mistake again. The friendly waitress, who did receive her 20%, didn’t even ask why 80% of all we ordered was still on the plate along with the gross pile of discarded remnants of a rancid taco. Hate sharing negative and hope for owner this was just a one time event, but this was a disgustingly bad experience.

We are from Cajun Country in Louisiana and the boiled crawfish here were fantastic just like at home. Wonderful fried shrimp and home made hush puppies. Bread pudding was delicious. We will definitely come back.

OMG, where do I begin!? lol The best crawfish I’ve ever had – asked for extra extra spicy. They have their own sausage recipe and have it made just for them – is ALSO the best sausage I’ve ever had! Their dessert is awesome, shrimp is perfect, and their waitstaff and ownership are just some of the sweetest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. 12 outta 10!
