My husband surprised me with reservations here, however, he is not an avid reviewer, but I am. After reading soo many bad reviews I was nervous, so I went in with an open mind. Here are my results:

We’ve been to the bar twice, two different trips. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Good selection of drinks. Even made my wife a fruity drink just by her vaguely describing what she was looking for. No frozen drinks, though. I had the majestic buffalo margarita. It was excellent. Last call is at 9:30 except Fri and Sat at 11:30.

My ribeye steak was good. I ordered a medium cooked steak and received a medium rare. Which I don’t mind. We had to send the pasta plate back because the pasta was undercooked.

Unfortunately the best part of the meal were the drinks and appetizers. The espresso martini and apple cinnamon were delicious!! The fried asparagus was lightly seasoned which we like and the pan seared shashito peppers with sauce were cooked well and had a little kick.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and service! We went on a Friday and it was kinda weird that they were out of pork belly for the brussel sprouts and broccoli for the pork tenderloin. The scallop special was good. The shrimp and clam chowder was also very good. The grill medley had a perfect lamb lollipop and sausage but the short rib was mush, no offense to anyone but kinda like it had been sous vide 4 or 5 times. It was also barely warm.

Best calamari I have ever had, food and drinks were all amazing. Service was superb. Super pricey though, for 4 of us the bill was 365 dollars.

Was not what we expected service was extremely slow, several menu items we unavailable. Had to go to bar to get our own drinks, took nearly 45 minutes to get food, the steaks were cooked/seasoned perfectly, however carrots were cold. Saw several tables getting baskets of bread which we never received.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was nice, I wish that the outdoor fire pits were on. The food was bland and boring. No exciting New Mexico flavors or spices.

After reading some bad reviews we decided to go ahead and give Red Sage a chance…none the less 45 min before closing time. Our server was at our table the minute we sat down. He provided us excellent service. Our food….Ribeye Steak…was EXCELLENT as was our salad. After this great dining experience we WILL go back to Red Sage!!!
