Adding this place to my Georgia food stops. The brisket sandwich was loaded with meat, fries were crunchy and reminded me of Checkers fries. The baked beans were great and the sweet tea was on point.

As an assistant my day consisted of getting lunch for her install crew of four. I ordered the Ribs, Brisket, And Chicken. However, due to the crews overwhelming response to the taste of the food it made me go back and order some food for myself. And I have to say, this is the best tasting, best cooked barbecue I’ve tasted in years. You’d be very Happy to stop in here and grab a bite! And the customer service was awesome, very helpful as I was deciding dinners for the crew. I will visit this place again for sure, even if I have to make an intentional drive from Jacksonville. Simply Great tasting food with Southern Hospitality at its finest!

BBQ so good I had them cater my wedding when it was the original owners. A few years back it changed hands and I worried about the food changing…. it never did, still as delicious as ever and they’ve added new delicious items. The battered fries are awesome! I’m so glad they are just around the corner from me. If you pass through our small town and only make one stop, this is it!

They would not pick up the phone after 7 calls on 9-24-22 at 3.05pm, still had 55 minutes before closing. So I used their online order app, and ordered a pizza. The last one was not very good but figured, 1 more shot. Ordered it and 1 minute later it got canceled by RP. So I drove up to the RP and walked in. 2 employees walked by and neither asked, can I help you! We waited 10 minutes for help to order, finally walked out to go spend my money else where. This is partly why Progress Rail down the road does not come to this restaurant No more, and after this I am done. The previous owner would make things right. This place will not last long if they can’t figure out how to make consistent food, on time and at least man the order table. KD

Always busy, so u may have a small wait, but that comes with great food. On the occasions it is a 10 or 15 minute wait still very much worth it. The food prices are very reasonable for portions, the staff is great, and again the food really is worth it. While you won’t find 1000 sauces to put over bland meat, all the meat is great and the 3 sauces available all have fans in the community. My personal favorite is mustard sauce and it ties up there with my grandma’s home made sauce recipe. Having great BBQ so close by truly is a blessing.
