I don’t know what’s happened, but the quality of food has gone completely downhill. Ordered the beef shawarma plate. The meat was so overcooked it was like jerky, the tzatziki was as thin as water, the mixed double veggies were frozen veggies and the pita was stale. This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered, in a row, with terrible food.

My wife is in love with lamb chops and I am in fear for Mary and her little lambs. But so long as the Red oak grill stands there is hope! Their gyros and lamb chops are off the chain and incredibly scrumptious! Their Mediterranean side salad is no less a treat either. Gotta love this little place!

We had no expectations for this restaurant and found it to be a pleasant surprise. There is plenty of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The restaurant was tastefully decorated. The service was very friendly. The food was the real treat. It was fresh and packed with delicious flavors and aromas. The frozen peach and lime margaritas were wine based and were amazing! I think we have discovered a new obsession!!!

The place is in a shopping center in Missouri City, so they have ample parking. It was empty when I arrived with maybe two other guests. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. It’s not a sit and be waited on restaurant.

We go for a healthy Sunday brunch. Not crowded. Great service. Food is wonderfully fresh. Patio seating and 70s rock music playing not too loudly. Not inexpensive, but lately nothing is. Recommend the shrimp wrap and the spinach salad with added feta.

Red Oak Grill, where we have enjoyed meals previously, advertised that it was open for business. Indeed, its Google calendar showed it open the day we went. Yet, when we arrived, there was no one in the restaurant, and only s single, tiny sign indicating it was closed. Because we called and there was no recorded message indicating the restaurant was closed, and because we drove across town (more than half an hour to arrive) and because our seven year old daughters were already hungry from us finding restaurant after restaurant appropriately indicating on Google they were closed, we are awarding Red Oak Grill one star, for completely dropping the ball and, in so doing, hunting my family. Terrible…

We had beef Shawarma and grilled chicken with mushrooms. Grilled chicken was OK. Chicken could be tastier and softer, maybe with a side sauce. The beef shawarma was fine, sauce was a little to much.

I’d like to say the food is okay the staff not that friendly and the price for what you get is Def not adding up I will just go down town to a Cafe Caspian to get better food for the price.

Chicken shawarma was dry (the meat). Hummus was decent. The pita bread is like the kind you but at the grocery store, not the fluffy kind. Fries were mid, shoestring fries. Fountain coke was very flat.
