Atmosphere good; food mediocre. I’m from the New Orleans area where Vietnamese and oriental food restaurants abound. My visit here included the following items: VIETNAMESE EGG ROLL, HOUSE FRIED RICE, SHRIMP & SCALLOPS and DRUNKEN NOODLES. As a whole, the food lacked depth and flavor. The entree sauces were bland, except for the dipping sauce that accompanied the egg rolls. The egg rolls were extremely greasy and lacked a crunchy crust known for such type egg rolls and the flavor was just mediocre. All of the entrees were well presented and fresh and the waitress was very pleasant. The use of some light soy sauce on all the entrees helped to enhance the lackluster flavor of the dishes.

Would rate 4.5 if I could. The service was really good. Servers were friendly and attentive. Drinks were great, too. Did not get a before photo of the food, but we all generally cleared the dishes! The edamame was delicious, shishito peppers also delicious (and not too spicy, unless you got a seed – we got TWO orders of these and completely finished them all). Fried rice was delicious and a very, very large portion, so I thought the price of that was a good deal. Eggs rolls were also a hit. Good option to go to at L’Auberge with friends if you are looking for a nicer, but “casual” feel option

The only downside about this restaurant is that you have to travel through the casino to get to it. The Peking duck, and the general Tso chicken are amazing. Service was great too.

Pretty decent little place. Good simple selection of food and drinks. Pad Thai was pretty good without being too spicy. Comes with jalapeño slices. Crab Rangoon was good, the sauce has a bit of jalapeños as well unless I accidentally mixed it. The drunk dragon drink was pretty decent, pretty strong.

We came to the casino just to try the restaurant and it exceeded our expectations. Theresa was a great server!

Their crab puffs were delicious, and their fried rice was good too, but the chicken they used in it was bland. I’m giving the extra star because they’re open late and they sat us a little before they closed (which I really appreciated!). Great customer service

I have worked in the restaurant industry for 18 years from dishwasher to manager and I have never experience service like I did first me and my wife came for the buffet but they were closed so we decided to give this place a try the host Asia was very nice she sat us and after about 7 minutes of not being greeted by a server I asked her did we have one she went to check and came back and said the server was too busy to take our order so she would do so mind you the restaurant have less than 20 tables in it so Asia took our orders went back to hosting still no server so Asia once again has to Leave the hostess stand and bring out our food no food runners or server the wontons were very crunchy but we managed to deal with it the general tso chicken was fried extra hard and fried rice was bland mind you Asia is leaving the hostess stand to serve us seat people and take to go orders while everyone else walks around like a chicken with its head cut off so I let the manager know how I felt he asked would I like a remake I said ok even though we felt like he didn’t care still no server by the way the remake never came out and Asia was concerned because she looked at our check and asked why they didn’t comp the ticket so she went in the back and got our ticket comped and we tipped her for doing so much she doesn’t need a raise she needs a better job because she was the only person who cared worse service ever

My husband are not big casino fans, but we do enjoy great asian cuisine, which seemed nonexistent in Baton Rouge. Until now. This is not your typical order by number Chinese restaurant. The food is fresh, the portions huge and the ambiance just right. We shared the spicy honey chicken with white rice ($17) , Vietnamese egg rolls (free if you ordered an entree), the vegetable fried rice ($11) and the seaweed salad ($7). The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. As a bonus, they offer 1/2 off beer, wine and sake during their happy hour. I highly recommend the Red Lotus Asian Kitchen and can’t wait to try it again.
