Red, Hot, and Blue serves American BBQ fare. Their brisket is probably the best thing we ordered. Their macaroni and cheese was very creamy and their greens – done better than other establishments. Their ribs are not as good as I hoped but passable. My som said their chicken sandwich was ‘not bad.’ My husband loved the Caesar salad and said it was very refreshing.

Took a friend to Red Hot & Blue for her birthday lunch. I ordered a pulled chicken platter with all white meat. She ordered the same thing. I don’t think they know what white meat means. When the server brought it to me, I said that it’s not white meat. She took it back. I thought she was going to correct it but instead she had some college boy bring it back and sit down in front of me. Basically you’re getting what we gave you. The french fries were cold and had been sitting around for a while. She said her salad tasted like an out of date bag of salad. She did not eat her food. She just left it. It’s sad to know that this restaurant after being there so long it’s not gonna last much longer because of the customer service or lack there of. They now have aand had been sitting around for a while. She said her salad tasted like a out of date bag of salad. She did not eat her food. She just left it. It’s sad to know that this restaurant after being there so long it’s not gonna last much longer because of the customer service or lack there of. They now have college kids running the. I will not go back again. By the way, they do not charge for the mice that are running around. But I wouldn’t bother telling them that either. I will make a report to the health department and hopefully they will get them cleaned up.

60 bucks for the worst food in Fairfax. Everything was off…. The brisket was bone dry. The hush puppies fried to death and a pulled pork nacho that was rotten.

I haven’t been here in years, but I was really in the mood for BBQ and am not a huge fan of some other places because there’s too much fat in the meat. RH&B’s pulled pork was delicious and the brisket was really enjoyable as well! The pulled pork had the kind of fat that melts in your mouth, which was sooo yummy! And the brisket had the nice lines of fat that I could cut around, which was perfect! Their sauces are tasty as well, and the spicy one certainly packs a punch! They were even kind enough to throw in extra sauce, which I later realized was totally overindulgent of me…they give you a hefty amount as-is. Overall, I’m really happy I chose them and we’ll be ordering from there for our BBQ cravings from now on!

Ordered a lot of BBQ for dinner and I used to really enjoy this location years ago. Saw it pop up in my doordash and got excited. I was sadly mistaken or remember their food being very different. Everything was dry and under seasoned. Getting BBQ and everything lacking salt… Sad. The potato salad had to be the worst thing. I’m not even sure what they could’ve done to make it taste like that, but it was not good. The brisket was alright, but again very under seasoned. The burnt ends were so fatty, you couldn’t really eat half of them. The sauces were still good but pretty much all the sides were not edible. I’d take your BBQ money elsewhere if I were you. Sad because this used to be the spot to goto for good BBQ.

Love the pulled pork, and the potato salad is out-of-this world. The people working there are very attentive and nice. We are happy that we have a Red Hot and Blue in Fairfax. Today many people came from the Fairfax Courthouse after the Johnny Depp trial, and likely be back tomorrow. Excitement watching his car go by.

Gross high school cafeteria-level food. Or frozen meal at best. Dry, under seasoned fare, waitstaff gives off sketchy vibes. The entire place needs an overhaul, from menu, service demeanor, ambiance, layout and design etc. This is Fairfax VA for Pete’s sake, not some podunk backroad. Brush it up, folks. I’ll come back later and see if things improved but so far, so blah.

We don’t go to Fairfax often so we thought we would try something new. Will never come back here though. The food was dryer than the Sahara desert and not seasoned at all, and our server never checked on us. My wife asked for some ranch and they never brought it. I don’t know how you make a sausage that dry but whoever is smoking your guys food needs to be fired. I never leave reviews and I’m pretty sure this is the first one but I had to say what we had to say. My biggest regret was spending almost $50 on trash food

Great little pub. Best BBQ I’ve had in the DMV and I’ve tried most of them. Brisket the way it should be. Better than Myron Mixon’s and Rockland in my book. Check it out and see for yourself.
