The service was top notch. The food was memorable and full of flavor. I’m still dreaming of the shrimp and avocado cocktail, the French Onion Soup Mashed potatoes and my perfect chateaubriand. Dessert left a lasting impression.

We’ve been to 3 David Burke restaurants. This was completely below par! Bacon was horribly dry and overcooked. The popovers were the same, dry, cold and overcooked. The steaks at$72 each were just average. I had “Surf and Turf” – 2 thin slices of steak and 2 shrimp for$59? And it’s only average??? All in all this was the worst meal we’ve had at a David Burke restaurant… Go to Orchard Park, it’s much better.

I had dinner tonight at your restaurant and I enjoyed every single bit of it. The “Flirtini” drink was one of the best drinks I’ve had! From the special appetizer to the dinner and desserts, the food was absolutely fantastic. I’m so embarrassed to be a local and have not tried it sooner. Will be back for sure. Thank you for a great night out.

Walked right in and seated immediately for brunch. Our waiter Matthew was absolutely incredible, answered all our questions, and helped us navigate a few food allergies with the menu. I had the burrata salad & the Red Horse Burger. The salad was flawless, sweet & tart, very fresh, and super crisp. The burger was delicious, but I didn’t personally enjoy it as much because I prefer thinner patties, and this burger is extra thiccc. The pastry bar was beautiful AND tasty! I had some cookies and a donut ball.

Second time at this place. I’m giving it a 5 star because the food IS delicious. Although our server Ryan was a disappointment I gave him a 20% tip… but he needs to be friendly and more attentive. You don’t serve coffee without sugar, or desserts without spoon. He did not introduce himself and hardly return to our table. Understandable it’s valentines weekend and a lot of people are out dining to celebrate. It should be more important to be attentive.

Red Horse has become my friends’ and my favorite watering hole, anytime of the week… though particularly on Tuesdays when Chef Burke and his team offer all day happy hour. The staff is cheerful, efficient, and happy to chat you up (without sacrificing service to other customers) and the food is, understandably, delicious as David insures quality in all his restaurants. I particularly recommend his burgers as they’re some of the best in the business… and the angry tempura vegetables make for a delicious shareable.

Man I really wanted to like this place as we have all of the other David Burke places in NJ. And we did like it for the first 90 % of our time there.

Service was impeccable. Food was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Cocktails/drinks were good. Our reservations were for 6:30 and we were seated promptly. Our appetizers (bacon and salad) came out pretty quickly and then we ordered our meals. The server and bus boys were very attentive. After we finished our appetizers, they cleared out our plates and gave us new silverware. Our server continued to fill our glasses with water. We received our main entrees and we enjoyed everything. I ordered the pork chop/clams and boy was it delicious! We had the tree dessert with cotton candy and cheesecake pops. Everything was delicious! We will definitely go back. Thanks for a great night out!

Such a wonderful evening! We made a reservation through OpenTable a few hours before, as we were driving through the area and always wanted to try it. They have valet parking, buy if you’d rather self park, there were plenty of spots on the side streets.

It was somewhat of an underwhelming experience. A quaintly decorated restaurant that sets high expectations from the start. I went for brunch. The sangria was tasty and strong. The server was very nice, but minor details were missed, such as the complementary bread being served after the appetizer and too close to the entree. The yogurt parfait was lacking granola and honey, which it was supposed to be served with. The oysters were good, but my entree, the lobster omelette, was disappointing. The omelette was overcooked, despite it’s companion sauce being zesty and exciting. I know that they are capable of a caliber of cuisine – the branzino was crisp and flavorful. It felt like many of the dishes were thrown together without much care. Still, the desert bar at the end was an interesting twist that I enjoyed.
