First time visiting Red Hook and the food was amazing, the customer service not so much…The guy taking our order wasn’t friendly at all and we couldn’t really understand him. I asked could I order some oysters to go and he said they don’t have them as a to go item, but the young lady who was assisting him suggested I order them and eat them at the bar while we waited for our food, she was very sweet and welcoming. So I took the young lady up on her offer and went to the bar, the bartender wasn’t very friendly either, she saw me but was hesitant to speak. I ordered the oysters and a strawberry peach margarita, everything was delicious but the service. Hopefully the next time we visit the customer service will be much better!!

The service was honestly so amazing. Our server was Beatrice and let me say A++++! She was such a vibe and made everything so comfortable with her personality. Her manager, Tabitha, also had the place running very smoothly. Not to mention the food was also a big plus. We will DEFINITELY be back

Music was loud. Yeah, they had a DJ. Couldn’t hear yourself talk. Food was awesome, as always. Once we received our meals, waiter did not check back with us for about 45 minutes. Needed refills, etc. Had to ask busboy to find our waiter. Place was clean and a little crowded but that’s because of the music atmosphere. Some people did dance. No issues there. Would I return: Yes but maybe at an earlier time.

Well, I try to give poor service in chain restaurants a few chances before giving a poor rating, but I have had poor service each time on multiple visits. Management seems unconcerned with keeping their seating and waiting staff in any way disciplined… As an example, I waited the entirety of my visit to have my drink refilled, and it took me walking out to my car to get a drink of a warm soda for my waitress to ask if I wanted a refill, and that question was asked as she was handing me the check. One of my fellow diners spilled their sweet tea all over the table and had to ask a different waitress to find our waitress to replace it, and she did absolutely nothing to remedy the wet table and seats situation, despite there being only perhaps 6 tables out of 40 being used with a full staff. I would have rated the service 1 star, but for the other waitress who was helpful and genuinely seemed to care about her clientele, though that was clearly from her own integrity and not through management. Great food and atmosphere, spoiled by subpar service and management.

Here on a Wednesday at 7pm. The restaurant is not crowded at all. Service is slow, that’s to be expected. But the rude service is definitely uncalled for. Our waitress is extremely rude and nasty. Clearly she is having a bad day, but that is definitely no reason to take it out on customers. If i went to my job with a bad attitude like this, i would have been sent home. The 2 stars is for the food, the service was absolutely horrible. Picture shows how “not busy” they were. I will update the review with the servers name when i find out.

Fast service, excellent lunch special, no head shrimp meal, and barely anyone there. Also has a fun nautical theme with a life size statute of either Johnny Depp or Captain Morgan, we aren’t sure.

Good customer service, decent food. It not like the best Cajun food we had since we lived in NOLA, but it was good. Since we just had horrible experiences at Texas Roadhouse and Hooters next door, their customers service like smile to us, welcoming us feels great!
