So I’ve been here a few times for staff meetings. We always eat after, and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s a nice small town restaurant with good home cooked food. The waitresses and cashiers are always nice, passing along infectious smiles, and try to help as much as possible. I should really try somewhere else in Quitman, but I’m hooked.

Absolutely amazing home cooking. We received prompt, courteous, friendly service. Even the man cleaning tables engaged in enjoyable conversation with our dinner party. Overall, we enjoyed some of the best service we have experienced in a long time. We will definitely be back soon!

I give this a 5 star review because the food is always the same. Really good. The service is consistently good, and the atmosphere is a little ole hometown place with good ole home cooking. They have an excellent buffet, as well as really good smoked chicken and ribs. IMO Red Dome is a go to for home cooking.

The food is fairly good, not the best ever, but far from the worst. The service was great! Waitress always swinging by to be sure we had everything we needed but not often enough to seem overbearing. Prices seemed a bit high, but with inflation like it is, I can see why they’d need to charge more. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Well they tried to fill me up w coffee 3 refills in 20 min I was floating . The French toast had a greasy flavor to it and thank goodness their warmer keeps food really hot because I know our food was sitting under it for 15 min before the waitress looked back thru her pad and realized it was for her table,us.

Our first visit here, but it did not disappoint. My spouse had a chopped beef sandwich with sides of mac n’ cheese and onion strings. She said there weren’t any shortcomings in the lot. She had high praise in particular for the side dishes. I opted for the smoked chicken plate with pinto beans and french fries. The beans were tasty, but I would have liked a little more spice, the fries, of fresh cut variety, were cooked perfectly and served piping hot. The chicken was well seasoned and had a fair amount of smoke infused throughout. It could have had a little more heat, but it was out of the smoker for a bit before serving I think. We each had a fried pie, an apricot and a chocolate, for dessert. We found the crust to be a little thick for our taste, but the filling appeared to be homemade and very tasty. We saw a fresh coconut meringue pie being cut and we will definitely be trying that on our next visit. The server staff knew most of their customers and what they were going to order and there’s definitely plenty of small town vibe. You will be well taken care of here.
