Excellent experience especially because of the incredibly friendly service. I sat at the bar and had a wonderful time chatting with the bartender, who made an excellent Mezcal Negroni, and manager. The food is great. Everything I tried was flavorful. I loved the queso, shrimp tostada, & churro bites.

Built inside a former oil change place, there is a great vibe here with an energetic atmosphere. The chips were amazing. They had great flavor but didn’t naturally come with salsa or anything. Every taco we tried was great, not a bad one in the bunch and churros to end the meal.

Updated review: The new change is a big change. The tacos was just okay to me. It reminds me of a limited menu Bakersfield. The churros were not fresh. The Margarita was great and so were the beans and rice. I probably won’t return again except maybe for drinks.

MOSTLY GLUTEN FREE! The new Red Crown serves Mexican fusion tacos and Mexican influenced drinks. Same great atmosphere, excellent service as always and interesting new takes on the classic taco. We sampled all the tacos and enjoyed each one except the classic taco. The classic taco was very bland, but it may be a good choice for children.

Red crown is now a Mexican restaurant, with a small affordable menu. Tocos, appetizers ($4 Guacamole & chips), and great drink Menu. The service was great and very attentive. I will be going back!

Wanted to love, but it was such a miss 🙁 the margaritas were either funky or watered down, and when we asked- they said its a keg margarita with soda water added. You would think that a mexican restaurant would at least make their own margaritas… disappointing, we couldn’t drink any of them!

Have to say very disappointed. Was very excited for the change to Mexican but experience was poor. Walked in with the family and asked if we could be seated outside and was told no (others were being sat outside the entire time we were there.) Then asked for a booth, again, was told no. Ended up being sat at a giant table by the bar all bar ourselves. Tacos were nothing special. They weren’t bad, was just expecting a bit more for the price. Ordered classic tacos for the kids but way too spicy for kids. Tortilla chips were made fresh but very greasy. The guacamole was good and that was the only positive.

Let me start by decreeing that it would be a sin not to try their chips and queso. I sat at the bar and ordered tacos for a few $ a pop. They came out quickly, were presented like works of art, and tasted just as good. The ingredients were fresh and authentic. Really pleasant atmosphere and great service. I meant everything I said about the chips. Enjoy!

I ate here on a Sunday afternoon and everything was great. We had excellent service, food, and the atmosphere on the patio was amazing. Ordered a few tacos, chips & guac, and churros. Everything was good, but the barbacoa tacos were my favorite. The combination of affordability and quality are unmatched. Dinner for two at less than $40 with starters, mains, and something sweet to top it all off.

Great place. I have been wanting to go here for a while and will be back. Went in on a Friday around 6pm. Patio is first come, first served. We were sat right away. We had the soft pretzels with melted cheese for an appetizer, it was great. I had the Cobb salad and my fiancé had the red crown burger with mixed greens for entrees. Only thing I can complain about is my fiancé didn’t care for the dressing on the salad, it was slightly sweet, so I finished it for him. It was a great meal. To drink I had the pomegranate mule which wasn’t too sweet. Everything was good. I will be back to try the bbq.
