My high school graduating class recently celebrated our 70th year with a birthday party with about 100 in attendance. Red Barrel catered the event for us and all the feedback we received regarding dinner was positive. The food was absolutely delicious! The potato salad was some of the best I have ever had and I am very funny about potato salad, in fact I usually don’t eat it out. Red Barrel arrived when they said they would, were professional to work with, food presentation was good, food was plentiful, and they left the kitchen and buffet area as clean as it was when they arrived. As soon as we said seconds were available the crowd was back at the buffet! When you do not hear one negative regarding a meal, only positives, that says a lot. I highly recommend Red Barrel BBQ & Catering and will definitely contact them for future events.

Man I don’t even know where to start, this is some of the best if not the best bbq I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this business because it will definitely only get better! I won’t say too much but I don’t even eat corn and their food has changed my perspective on a lot of foods I didn’t like because of how wonderful and tasty they make everything and they make sure to cook everything thoroughly and they don’t rush anything to make sure their customers get what they want. Job well done here.

Raven is great to work with, they accommodated a group of 475 soldiers for an event flawlessly. I did not attend the event, but everyone said the food was outstanding! I look forward to working with Red Barrel BBQ and Catering in the future. No question who we will be using for future events in the area.

Man when it come too smoked or grilled meat there ain’t none better than my boy Ray with the red barrel bbq smoker. Ate there multiple times and catered from him multiple times and today was my 4th event and he killed it. He was amazing . There on time. Had everybody served on time appreciate you Ray

A great job! Finally seasoned food at a function! We had them prepare steak and lobster for a fundraiser event ( 65+ people) when others wouldn’t do it because of the amount of people. It was our goal to have the most fresh (non buffet) food at a local function and for a caterer to plate the food. That’s exactly what happened…. compliments to the chef. The communication of our needs was also top notch. I’d highly recommend.

Raven, the owner of Red Barrel BBQ & Catering, is the best to work with! He is so incredibly kind, prompt in communication, and patient (getting us several different quotes when we couldn’t make up our minds, lol). Above all, the BBQ was DELICIOUS! There were lots of self-proclaimed “BBQ snobs” at our Derby party, from all across the south, and everyone wanted to know where we got such good, local BBQ. Also, the portions were huge! We probably got twice as much food as we were expecting. We had the smoked pulled chicken, smoked pulled pork, and coleslaw (which was nice and vinegary and complemented the meat so well). I cannot recommend this small business any more highly and we will definitely use Red Barrel BBQ and Catering for our next event. Thanks again Raven!
