The outside of this place needs some TLC. Pulled in for dinner with the family and immediately pulled out. It wouldn’t take much, either. Some picking up and general outside cleaning, maybe hide that dumpster, and you have a nice spot. Food looks great in reviews. Unfortunately, lost our appetite to give it a try.

I only gave one star because zero wasn’t an option, this place is awful! We first placed an order online and walked in to a completely empty restaurant 30 minutes later to pick it up and neither of the two employees had any idea that an order was placed. I was told it would only take 10 minutes, which seemed like a big under-estimate for 3 entrees and appetizers but I waited in my car for 10 minutes then went back inside to pick up. 15 minutes from that point (25 total) our food was finally ready, bagged and tied up, and I took it home. When I got home, we discovered none of the appetizers were added and one of our entrees was wrong. So I called to ask for a refund of those items, and was told 1. That my entree wasn’t wrong, Orange chicken and sesame chicken are the same thing, he just forgot to add the sesame seeds on top, and 2. That he would only refund the appetizers, not the incorrect meal after their “busy time” so to call back in an hour. On top of all of this mess, the food was horrible, we didn’t even eat it. The chicken was rubbery and obviously microwaved, very gross. I would never, ever recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Found this while driving to another restaurant. Prices reasonable, food was outstanding. Unlike other Chinese restaurants. The server was great. This is Authentic. The flavors of our food was outstanding. I will go back to try more of their food.

Extremely authentic Chinese food from exotic to typical but excellent. Huge variety. Can eat on a budget if study menu at length. Menu is a good read while eating there for 1st time.

On my list to try for quite some time. Service was great and food came out fast and hot. Spicy greenbeans were good and fresh. General Tsos chicken was hot and had a good portion but just a bit on the sweet side for me. Multiple hot tea options too, more than just standard green tea choice. Will be back because of several interesting items on the menu.

We had to wait for an hour to get some the worst Chinese food. General TSO’s didn’t have any flavor other than the orange peels. Crab Rangoon didn’t have crab meat, and the egg rolls were very small. Not worth the cost of the dinner. We will not be going back.

This is truly the best Chinese in btown. The menu is expansive. We try something new every order and have never been unsatisfied. Owner(s) are super friendly too! You definitely won’t regret trying Red.

Bland, tasteless, expensive. I would get excited about this place when I’d visit my boyfriend on Lincoln and I understand why I could never convince him to go. I’m really dissapointed. Burned eggs in the rice, chicken with no flavor, mushy lo mein and all this for 80$. The only good thing was the Crab Rangoon but again, 4 for 7$ is being pushy. There are better take-out places in other parts of town. :/ It’s worth driving the extra few blocks past Red.
