Showed up for brunch with a party of 12, caught em a little off guard, they were short staffed & it took quite awhile. But this was the perfect place to visit, relax, absorb the beauty of this historic & well maintained facility. The food was delicious & our server exceptional. We received complimentary appetizers. A must see stop when visiting Cloudcroft, NM.

Ate dinner here a few times while in Cloudcroft. Loved the trout!! Had the full order and the half order two nights and the burger with bacon for lunch. The vegan bowl had wild rice, black beans, broccoli, tofu and brussel sprouts. Tiramisu was delicious as well. Bartender was making good drinks at the bar too. Decent wine list for being limited.

We dined here twice during our stay at The Lodge at Cloudcroft. For dinner we ordered the pistachio fried steak and pistachio rainbow trout. My husband really enjoyed his steak but I found my entree a bit bland. We also tried breakfast on our last day. It was a buffet and not much to brag about. It included biscuits, green chili potatoes, egg frittatas, sausage patties, gravy and assorted fruit. The food was luke warm and the biscuits were dry. But, the service was excellent on both visits. The atmosphere is relaxing and for dinner we really enjoyed the live piano music.

Worth trying once, but a bit expensive good service due to not alot of people that come here for dinner. I recommend the pisatchio steak without a doubt

Menu has changed since our last visit. They now have a ‘Brunch Menu’s on Sunday. I had the Chimichanga and it was delicious, but too much for me. … leftovers Anyway, service was pretty slow, but I overheard staff talking about being short several people. Still, it was a pretty darn good experience.

We ate dinner in the bar area after work. Much better service than in the past. We have eaten here twice now since the remodel and changing of employees and haven’t been disappointed. Both times the food has been great and the staff friendly and professional. The prices are reasonable as well and the atmosphere is beautiful as always, especially around Christmas time.

The hotel is nice and the front staff were friendly. But they failed to tell us that you should have a reservation for brunch. In their room info. book, it said brunch started at 8 and nothing about needing reservations. We went down to checkout at 8 and told them we were wanting to do their brunch, but the restaurant sign said it started at 9. So, we waited the hour. Very few people were in line (about 5), but the restaurant staff told the two of us (my wife and I) that we needed reservations. And that maybe they could get us in at 12:15. Seriously? What is this? An exclusive Vegas restaurant? You are not a Michelin star restaurant. You are serving eggs and regular breakfast. You will never get my business or anyone that ever asks me how it was.

We wanted 3 drinks and the bartender took 4 peoples drinks after I ordered and gave me one out of 3 of my drinks . Then when we wanted food, order to go, because we brought our dogs , (the lodge hotel is a dog friendly place) the receptionist stated that the kitchen is not doing to go orders . So we had to go into town . I really felt they treated us differently cause we were young , given that the majority of the guest population was mid 50s. I have really never experienced this before . If you see my other review ratings , I’m usually a 5 star rating person, but this service is not the service I expected from this hotel restaurant.

We came for Sunday Brunch. The brunch menu options were not too appealing so we ordered a simple 2 egg, sausage, potatoes and toast. It was ok. Coffee was good. We liked the atmosphere but for the food … dunno. May come back to try a cocktail at the bar

Came here for dinner with my family of 4. We were seated quickly even though we did not have a reservation.
