If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The service, food and atmosphere here is phenomenal. When dining in, there is never a wait to be seated. I ordered online for my neighbor who had just got out the hospital. She told me to go to McDonald’s. Driving there, I thought I’d pick up something better. I ordered online. By the time I arrived, it was hot and ready! She was so happy to eat something that tasted just like homemade. This is definitely a great place for family dining. They serve breakfast and lunch…not sure about dinner.

We had a large group getting together so it was important to make a reservation. Most breakfast places don’t take reservations but, after doing some research, I found that Real Texas Cafe does. The seating arrangement was just what we needed and they basically had us in a separate area. The wait staff did a good job managing such a large table and they didn’t rush us at all. Friendly spot for traditional breakfast foods.

I have been a customer at The Real Texas Cafe since they opened three years ago. The SOS is my favorite. Veterans may recall having SOS in the chow halls and what the SOS means or younger people may want to call a SOS after you eat the entire meal for medical assistance for overeating. The daily specials are good and the service from Mona and Maria is always excellent. Try the restaurant and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed if you like a country type dining.

My sister and I dined in at this cafe for the first time on April 1, 2023, when we were in town for the Taylor Swift concert. The food was incredible! I had a grilled chicken sandwich with seasoned fries, and my sister had the chicken fried chicken with freshly baked cornbread. We are both from OK/TX area and know the taste of homemade, good southern food – and these meals were perfect! The servers were also very sweet and friendly. We will definitely visit again!

We have been coming to this restaurant for brunch. The food is so tasteful and huge servings size. Love the atmosphere and the waitresses are so helpful and nice.

We came here on a Sunday at 11:00 and it was pretty empty. Although there were plenty of tables available we hat to wait for more than 5 minutes a to get seated despite making eye contact with multiple employees. Once we were seated we only saw our waitress a couple of times. The food took about 30 minutes to come out. The meal was decent but not great.
