Apparently, we dined on an off night.The barbecue chicken was dry,chopped pork watery, and lacking flavor. Will definitely be back to try again. I have read the reviews from others and somewhat miffed.

Not sure how we have missed this little gem as many times as we have been to Winston, but I am glad we found it. I am very picky when it comes to BBQ, and this place does not disappoint. The food came out fast, and fills you up. It brings back memories of my families BBQ restaraunt. It’s hard to find a really good BBQ place these days and it passed mine and my husband’s test. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

Great NC style BBQ and sides. This place used to be a car hop in the 70s and is still decorated with memorabilia from Winston-Salem. Everything about this place oozes Southern hospitality. It’s worthy of a stop-in every time we are in town.

Delicious Pork BBQ. Pork was moist, hush puppies and fried okra were perfectly crisp on the outside and warm on the inside. Sweet tea was just right with it all. This was our first time having Lexington-style BBQ – it was great. Staff were very friendly and helped suggest some good things to try. Definitely be a place to try.

I have eaten Barbeque that has been cooked with wood and served at this location since the 1970s. Although the named has changed a few times over that period of time the food has always been good every time I have dined there. I recommend the bbq whether you get it in a sandwich, a plate, a tray or in a salad. All of which you can eat in the dining area inside or at the tables outside under the porch. Cheeseburgers and hotdogs are good also and if you are in a hurry they still do curb service
