As a Vietnamese, I had expected more from a place named “Real” Pho, but was really disappointed.

They weren’t serving most of the menu. We were told there was no one to cook anything that needed to be fried. Our only choices were soup or the few sandwiches they could make. Our sandwiches consisted of a big sub roll with 2 small strips of meat each. The meat was pretty good but nowhere near worth the price for so little. The server was very nice in explaining that they really didn’t have anything to serve. I would have honestly walked out after being told they didn’t have anything on the menu but I was with a coworker and didn’t want to be rude. Definitely do not recommend.

I went here just trying to find something that may be a little different from the norm. The presentation was great. The pho was ok.. I don’t remember the name but my fiancée had the one with chicken broth base and it was pretty good. I am not saying the food was but bad it was just not too much different from you your standard pho restaurant. I will go back and try something different so I can compare my experience and let’s see if I feel different the second time around..

definelty hole in the wall place will be coming back. Highly recommend the grilled pork pho. my waiter was nice enough to recommend I try these little peppers but they were beyond spicy ! He laughed and said they are vietnamese and i laughed because he was eating them like they were candy meanwhile lol. Over all very very good !

It was pretty disgusting, my meat had a green tint to it, the summer rolls had this weird beef jerky meat in it. The server gave us menus and utensils and our food that was it. There are no drinks except tap water and smoothies. The food inspection rating was nowhere to be found either. My boyfriend felt nauseous after the steak and brisket pho. I got the combination pho. In the pictures below there is a mystery ingredient(the tentacle thing) I asked the server what it was and he didnt know and didnt ask the cook either. Overall a pretty terrible place to go at potranco. We spent $31 for all of this

Most of the dishes are fantastic, but not all. The Korean beef with rice was tough, and had a ton of fat and bones, but very little meat. The seafood salad, however, was exquisite, probably the best one in San Antonio. The tempura shrimp and calamari was also excellent. Overall, a great value. *Note: The appetizers and Korean beef were carryout, while the seafood salad was dine-in.

First time here was not bad. Waiter attended to us immediately and was very helpful with the menu. I ordered the Vietnamese Eggroll to start off then ordered the Eye Round Steak and Brisket Pho. The eggroll was very tasty and the pho was even more of a well waited treat. My first experience here was overall good. The place can use some more ethnic decor and music to give it the overall Vietnamese experience which I can only imagine is awesome! Will definitely come here again and good luck finding nearby parking.

First this wasn’t a 36 dollar meal. Combination fried rice was very sticky and had a butter & garlic taste to it. We both ordered the grilled Pork Pho. Pork was really good. The Pho was very bland tasting. And we love !! Sad to say we won’t go back. Service was good and they were very nice.

I used to come here a lot with my family but haven’t been by in a few years. We got dinner here yesterday and I was a little surprised at the menu. It seemed to be different than when we’d come before. My family isn’t vegan but I am. I really like this place because they have vegan pho and they used to have soy milk where you could get boba drinks and teas made with it instead of dairy milk! Unfortunately we were told now that they were out of basically every tea and boba flavor they used to have. Also they only had milk and couldn’t make me anything with soy milk. I did end up getting the tofu and vegetables vermicelli noodles and it was delicious!!

Delicious food! I love the meatball pho and my husband really enjoys their chicken pho…can’t forget the Vietnamese egg roll, it’s the best! The only bad thing I can say about this location is that the air conditioning is not working properly and it’s super uncomfortably hot. Eating piping hot soup and a hot environment…not good but definitely worth being uncomfortable for a little while
